Step into the shoes of Aspen, a “detective” of questionable qualification, as she solves the fattening mystery plaguing the Shadepoint manufactory in WASTELINE: Refilled!
After many months of hard work, this remake of the original WASTELINE jam game has been rebuilt from the ground up in a new engine, and contains vastly more content - gameplay, writing, artwork, music, and so on. The game also contains NO AI-generated content whatsoever.

What can be expected from the game?
Currently, Wasteline: Refilled primarily focuses on Aspen, the protagonist, and thus the vast majority of content and weight stages (14 in total) revolve around her. However, a handful of other characters also gain weight at different points in the narrative, some depending on Aspen’s actions during her investigation.
The gameplay mostly consists of exploring a large, top-down map of the Shadepoint factory, filled with various foods and hazards that may pose a threat to Aspen’s waistline. The map also contains many different items to collect and characters to interact with, potentially leading to more weight-based shenanigans.
In this release of the game, the first three areas of the game are entirely complete with plenty to explore. In the future, more areas will be added and expanded upon, like the catwalks from the original jam game, and the current relatively barebones final area. The true ending is also planned to be added in the future, though it will likely require many different steps that will lead to other characters gaining weight, so its various stages will hopefully be implemented over time.
Currently, a first playthrough of Wasteline: Refilled has roughly 3-4 hours of content, with subsequent playthroughs to discover different endings and variants of CGs adding an extra 2-3 hours of play.
Is it free?
Not currently, no. As it stands, nearly a year of effort has been put into this game by myself and others, namely bun (the artist) and Kweequ (the musician), and it’s important that I make enough money to continue paying them for updates and cool future projects (not to mention myself, I need money to live too).
There’s a chance that Wasteline: Refilled will come to Itch for free (with some features limited) in the future, but for now it will remain as a Patreon exclusive.
