Weight of a Kingdom

i am looking at making a weight gain kingdom builder, you will play as a living castle that feeds off the people of the land while also controlling the current king to do your bidding.

i am not amazing at drawing so unless i find an artist a lot of it may end up being AI drawings. but unsure yet.

List of key points.
fatten king or queen.
fatten population via laws or living standards.
tech and laws and building system
revolution if living conditions are too bad.
city management, aka you citizens will be assigned to buildings randomly so the ability to reassign citizens
individual stats

more advanced
the ability for citizens to walk around
parental stats pass down, aka the mother and father will make a kid with stats that vary so you can select for stats in your population

Any questions feel free to ask

This sounds amazing, if you can get it off the ground I think you’ll have an amazing game on your hands

ty for the offer i will let you know, at the moment i am setting up all the background scripts for resource management and building functions. played your game a few time, very much enjoyed it.

if you have ever played frost punk i am going for that general idea using game maker. but you will be able to have closer control if you want, with more actions you can take with your citizens.

i know about stuffer.DB and i am thinking of using that but am unsure about there T’s and C’s.

There was a typo. I didn’t create the game, someone else did.

Could be an interesting game, my game already has a lot of code structures for making an in-game economy, population simulations and some other stuff that hasn’t been implemented yet. Feel free to poke around the code of my game and reuse stuff. I don’t get involved with other games for personal reasons, but I wouldn’t mind sharing code.

I’ve always wanted more games like this, but this probably should go in Game Design Discussion until you have some in-progress examples to catch peoples’ interest with.

Also, if you can’t find an artist, some simple sprite/pixel art and/or a decent written description of the subject is still infinitely better than spilling AI pixel vomit on an otherwise promising game idea.
