I’ve made a little template game for others to work with in HTML. Feel free to upload your own version of the game, but note that it is under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.
I can see all of the files that make up the game and there doesn’t seem to be anything like a virus in there, you can even read all of the code that make up the game quite clearly from the google drive.
Sorry about the inconvenience of the downloading method. I figured this’d allow everyone else to change the code if needed, and since like you’ve mentioned, I am a new account (long time watcher, first time uploader kind of a situation), I’m limited in terms of what files I could actually upload. Still, I’d be more than happy to change the downloading method to something like itch.io if that’s what you’re more comfortable with! Just let me know.
If it’s an HTML file, it’s probably small enough that you could put it in a .zip file and upload it directly to Weightgaming. That’s how I uploaded most of my stuff before I got an itch account.
fun little game! Male weight gain isn’t my thing but this is a great framework, solid without being too ambitious. Lots of room to add changes or modifications, solid base to work off of. Your descriptions are good as well!
Oh no! I’ve made the game for Edge/Chrome using Windows, so I’m not sure how it might behave on other browsers and operating systems. If you could tell me which ones you are using I might figure out what the issue is. A screenshot of the main page’d help out a lot, too!
I’ve downloaded Opera, and the game seemed to work fine. I’m not sure what the issue could be, but make sure all of the files are within one folder, like so.
You shouldn’t change any of the files’ locations/names either, as they need to be set manually. If you do want to change their locations/names, you can edit the MainPage.html file and Script.js file and write in their new paths.
Because @idkwhatuwant is a new user the system flagged the repeated itch.io mentions as spamming links. This happens because the system sees 4+ links to the same place in the same topic from a new user as possible spam and automatically hides the “repeated” links. Since this was just a mistake I restored the hidden posts.
