And, for that matter, how many bodyshapes are there?
In my vast, autistic research on the matter, I’ve accumulated a good number of them, and I’m curious if there’s more. Now, of course, if you go down every potential minute detail, the question of bodyshape can become matter of semantics, so let’s keep it coherent:
How many many bodyshapes are there? What are the most notable variations?
And, of course, which one is your favorite?
We’re not limited to just real life and its physical-biological limitations in this discussion, people, so feel free to let your imagination soar!
In my opinion, bodyshapes can be broken down into five general categories:
Top-Heavy
Middle/Belly-Heavy
Bottom-Heavy
Balanced/Hourglass
All-Rounder
There’s obviously some category overlap with some bodyshapes, but by and large, all can be distilled down into these five categories. Everything specific can be found within them.
Personally, I still think of the body shapes as apple, hourglass, and pear. My favorite is apple by far, especially extreme apple. I like when a girl gains almost all the weight in her belly. Pears are nice too, I especially like when pear shape girls have very chunky thighs and upper arms to go with their booty. Hourglass doesn’t do much for me though. From my anecdotal experience, pears seem to be the most popular overall.
I’ve seen especially extreme apples referred to as “inverse hourglass”, which I think is a good description. Incidentally it’s my favorite bodyshape too. I’m also a proponent of “strawberry”, I.E. a topheavy shape. Kind of like apple with even more of a bias towards the breasts.
Inverse hourglass, I’ll have to remember that one! I think I just love that image of the belly so completely overtaking the gains in the breasts and butt. Plus bellies are amazing to touch. Another interesting discussion point is fat faces. Personally I love them, the fatter the cheeks and double chin, the better! Though some people want completely skinny faces.
Fat faces are always nice.
Personally, my favorite bodyshapes are the “cello” and the “chalice” - both are variations of the fat hourglass shape, with “cello” being a bottom-heavy hourglass, and “chalice” being at top-heavy one. If I have to chose between these two, I definitely prefer cello over chalice.
It’s an hourglass shape where the bottom half - ass, hips, and thighs are more pronounced that the chest, while still being recognizable as an hourglass, i.e. narrower in the middle.
I’m not sure what an explicitly thighs-focused bodyshape is called.
Thanks, but I’m not really interested in percentages, but rather, in people’s opinions. Plus, what if there’s a bodyshape I haven’t even heard of before?
i’m particularly fond of when someone gains all over, but my biggest weakness is a good pear shape with fat in other to places to make them rather soft overall, if that makes sense
