This version hopefully addresses the pacing issues that plagued the last release. This was accomplished with a little coding and reworked dialogue to the Cindy Scenes, but the images are the same, they are just triggered at different times.
This does also show the Amusement Park/Fair activity! This activity does take place during the day, the images and dialogue reflect that. That being said due to the scarcity of activities I have left it available at night, but it can only be found on the weekend.
The addition of a new activity does also require a new game start.
There is the intro scene, then after that two options, Ferris Wheel or Roller Coaster, chosen by a random number generator.
The infinite loop bug is there still, I’ve triggered it a few times. Still no idea on how to fix it, but the cause seems to be heavy use of the “skip” button. (I used it a lot whilst debugging). Typos are to be found and fixed.
There is no new weight stage for this release.
There will be for the next one 1.7! While I render those images I may code in the “shopping” activity in the meantime and deploy that as a 1.6.7
Most of the mega links provided in the introductory post seem to be unavailable, clicking on them takes you to a mega page, but it gives the aforementioned unavailability error
I think the mega files got purged when i cleaned out the cloud to upload the most recent version.
Anyone that has a 1.5 or before version has my permission to share it here for free (please please please please do NOT share 1.6.5) and dont charge for the older versions, they’re supposed to be free.
I am working on rendering a new activity, the movies. This activity will be influenced by how Dani feels overall as well as specific interactions in the scene.
As you can see from her expressions you can cheese her off pretty well.
I am up through the current biggest size, the I have to render her new size for all activities. The script is written and I have yet to begin adding it to coding.
I will have a few more slow weeks coming up due to IRL things. Nothing world ending, just stuff that’ll keep me away from my laptop.
I am doing full scene renders for each activity for the new weight stages.
This will lead to a little incongruity from the prior chapters but will hopefully be more immersive for the new one.
This also means that they take a bit longer. I have gone through two new activities, and two old ones. The renders are coming along and the script is written and just needs to be coded.
Glad to hear this! This really is one of my favorites on here and I can’t wait to interact with Danielle and the story more. It brings me so much joy! I appriciate this sign of life!
