Why can't those oneshot turn into plot story, through novel like J. K. Rowling

I’ve seen some good fics of growth but most of them are oneshot or just plain 3 chapters, some of them complete and most of them just left behind in the dust; with the author just blip out of existence or thankfully still continuing oneshot of other fetish. Here’s an example of a good growth plot story, Slyadam : Naruto Chakra Corruption, that is a masterpiece or another; Hinata Bountiful Fields, that fic has BLOB innit, and the universe are filled with oneshot of those 2 masterpieces… Or maybe you gents and lads could provide another growth fetish that is 20 chaps long, please do so…

Funny timing. Currently working on a Mario Party-centered series of novels. Suuuuuper early in the first one, though. Haven’t uploaded anything yet. I’ve only been actually writing it for a couple of weeks, and before that it was a ton of preplanning and stuff. Basically, the plan is for each game to have its own novel, and probably even have a little one-shot here and there centered around other Mario games in between novels. Knowing other people are looking for long-form content like that will make it easier to stay motivated on it. So thank you!

There’s quite a few reasons that people wouldn’t want to write longer works. I personally write a lot of very very long works but I only write stories about my OCs and they tend to be more for the story than just pure fetish content, or in other words, the “cute girls getting fat” part tends to be second to the “entire planet is at threat of being wiped out by an eldritch entity” part. Unfortunately for most here, I don’t publish my works but they’ll probably be referenced in my game.

Anyways, here’s a few reasons other writers might not want to write longer stories:

  • Not enough interest for the characters (especially in fanfics) to write about only one series long-term.

    • Long-term stories in general tend to be written about OCs who the writer has a lot more interest in.
  • Weight gain has an “end.” This end point varies depending on the writer’s preferences but there is almost always an end point since weight loss for any extended period of time is very very rare in these stories.

  • The point of fetish stories, to most people I’ve met at least (not me), is just to get a quick thing to j#ck off to. People complain a lot if a story isn’t just some girl getting ridiculously fat in under an hour of reading, or at the very minimum being more fetish-based than story-based.

    • The sad truth of it is that people often care more for the fat itself than the characters who are getting fat so often writers like to add lots of interesting story for the characters while the readers just view it as needless bloating or taking forever to get to “the good part” if it isn’t full of vivid descriptions or drawings of fat.
