Hey, just a heads up, my anti-virus is picking this up as a virus during gameplay. Not sure why, but thought I’d send an FYI.

That’s bizarre. Thanks for letting me know. Did it say what file specifically is being flagged? I assume RenPy probably updated and something new in the SDK is causing a false-positive for some antivirus programs.

It hasn’t said exactly what’s been causing it, just that my anti-virus quarantined it. I tried to reopen it after it bugged out and a message box came up quickly, and then disappeared before I could read it. I haven’t booted it up since, but the times it has happened was when I was talking with Sofi.

No worries. I’m not sure why it’d do that, especially for Sofi’s content.

Same - I haven’t had any issues with any previous build. Still, decided to run it again, and this is what I got from my anti-virus:

Thanks for giving me more info. All I could find on the internet were similar false-positives by McAfee RealProtect software. I think it’s just your antivirus being over-protective, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing!
