Thank you! I try to not make anyone just a faceless background character. Even if a few people are one note characters, like the two guys arguing endlessly over politics, I try to make them distinct enough to be memorable. With room to grow if I ever want to use them for a future plot line.

Even in a wg fetish game, I thought it would be somewhat necessary storytelling for at least some people to just not want to fat-loving lifestyle of the Niss. So the town of Deep Root had to be born, as a safe haven for all, but not a place where the wg aspect of the Niss is practiced.

I was slightly worried people would be disappointed with Clair’s slaughter of the parody Apostles since the previous update made it look like she was about to get corrupted. (But no comments against it so far, seems most people like the slaughter!)
On Mauve though, you are right he does need some more actual playable content. While I don’t think I’ll do one the size of Heather’s room update for him, he should get a lil somethin somethin for the male content lovers.
Lily and “plans” are more of loose concept, but that is the gist of it. Tear him down then build him up into her ideal hog.
You’re the second person to note the fun of the point system in particular! So when I circle back to Mauve content I’ll be sure to dedicate more time to it, as it is a fun corruption aspect. And you are right on the money with Lily using the prices to skew Mauve’s thinking. With cheap prices used to lead him down the road she wants as a pig with no other purpose then to eat and fuck.
Thank you! I had a ton of fun making all of those and CJ as always was knocking cool sprites out of the park! It’s neat to see Mauve and Darya get such a high ranking! I had made the Biggo scene first, and just thought it would be good symmetry to then make a ‘Mauve meets girl’ section as well. I wrote it on the spot and I too really liked it, and the new character of Darya. Just goes to show that while planning certain story elements is good, you need to be open to brand new and sudden ideas, as sometimes they are your best!

She has been long overdue! I wanted to bench her for a bit as she got a full update dedicated to her and her new room, but I think enough time has passed that we deserve to see how Sow’s been doing.

Atlas will be next, and it will be a HEFTY one as we see the open world for the player to explore, plus the start of a lot of character quests. We might split it in half and do two mini updates in a row, or do one big one when all is said and done. But neither is set in stone, CJ and I haven’t confirmed either yet, but we will keep people in the loop of our progress, here, on Atlas’s page, and patreon.
Hard to say exactly as plans sometimes shift, or new ideas come in. Originally this update and the previous update were meant to be one, but when I realized how much Lily content I wanted to do, they became split. There was also the muffin update which was a spur of the moment idea that became its own huge update!
But to answer, we will probably have an update 20 to Apostles, but likely not an update 30. The crew will stay in Auburnwoods a full year, and we are mostly through spring, so it’ll be summer and then fall next.
Afterwards though, I already have plans for where the crew goes next, and that will be a whole new game which will finish the overall story.
And don’t feel at all like you are inquiring too much, I’m always happy to answer questions!
I am so glad I decided to take a peek back at this thread for this first time in ages. Honestly, this thread is the only reason I come to this website! I was so pleasantly surprised that the update was out and I played and finished it as soon as I could!
Firstly, please do not apologise for things happening IRL. Your health should always take priority over any development deadline. I hope your toothache is all done and dusted thanks to the antibiotics! If not, get better soon and please take care of yourself!
Now, as for the update! As always, you did an amazing job, Waxe! The world-building and character development continues (including the cliffhanger twist at the end! /shakesfist) and they are incredible as expected, but for my review, I’m gonna focus on my favourite part (you guessed it) – the Mauve memory room!
Thank you, Waxe, for delivering unto us this amazing Mauve content! I love Mauve and whilst part of me wishes we could have a full scene rather than flashbacks, any and all content is greatly appreciated! Besides, that just means there’s more room for full scenes in the next update - hopefully! Now, I suppose I should go through scene by scene!
1. Weigh In
Weigh In was great, not just for kink, but also for giving us an insight into Mauve’s situation. The temptations that L provides in the form of all the little luxuries while performing her checks on his progress. I really enjoyed the butt-smack and the talk about his rear catching up to Heather. The idea of the Beastial siblings having matching plump asses is really steamy (and would really play into one of the ideas we discussed last year!). I also noticed you put Mauve in the position described in the director notes as one of your favourite hentai poses, and I can definitely see why!
As for the actual inspection, my goodness, that was steamy. L casually commenting on his fat cheeks and triple chin whilst casually dropping his orphan status was cruel and delightfully L. And the teasing monologue continuing about his thick arms, D-cup boy-boobs and pale fat boy belly were great! Even though the narration mentions the commentary went on for another twenty minutes, I could only wish I could read the whole thing haha! I hope L never stops teasing the formerly toned adventurer about his weight!
As for the constructive criticism, I think there might have been a small part that was accidentally cut. It starts with Lily commenting: “It’s like you get a dozen pounds fatter by the day”, followed by Mauve answering with the list of food he had eaten so far. The text mentions how Lily didn’t need to use the Voice to make him answer honestly, so I think you may have cut the part where Lily actually asks the question in the first place, which I assume is ‘how much have you eaten so far?’ or something to that effect.
2. Stinky
With respect, scat isn’t really my kink, so I was probably not the target audience for this particular scene, however, I still read through the whole thing because I am a Mauve fanboy after all haha. L trying to drive a wedge between the siblings was very much on brand, and I loved the fact that Mauve hesitated at first (at the cost of further punishment). Honestly, despite being awful to everyone else, the fact that the Mauve and Heather still seem to care for each other despite all the fattening treatment they’ve been through is really endearing. Even when he did eventually cuss her out, he stuttered quite a bit, so I imagine a lot of it wasn’t his true thoughts about his sister. I did really enjoy the imagery of just how full and over-bloated Mauve must have been throughout though. There was one mention of how even though Mauve was backed-up from the constipation, L kept forcing him to eat until he was nearly bursting. Honestly, that sounded really steamy, and I would love it if we could have a scene like that one day, where Mauve can’t release the pressure, but L just keeps making him eat and eat using the Voice if he ever faltered (basically the precursor to this scene). But anyhoo, I digress! As for the actual scat scene, again not really my thing (but no judgment on you or your fans), but I did appreciate the imagery of L forcing him to deny his former life by literally defecating on symbols of his past. Powerful stuff for poor fatty Mauve.
3. Glimpse of the Past
This gave us some much-needed information about Mauve’s way of thinking. Being powerful was all the ever mattered, even at the cost of his friend’s life. He was a terrible person, but that was the only life he had ever known. Snap back to the present where L is forcibly getting him aroused. I love the juxtaposition of the memory where he was so proud of his package whilst with the Sias sisters, but that very same manhood is now nothing but a plaything for L. I also found it intriguing that L had done the Heather trick before and Mauve had fallen for it three times. That would also be another scene I would love to see one day. Whilst the scene was generally steamy, I have to admit that Lily almost getting knocked off her living dildo by getting whacked by the sheer mass of Mauve’s belly made me laugh!
4. Glimpse of the Future
This was a fun scene, with Mauve being scared of the dildo. Not gonna lie, that little glimmer of pride he got when he managed to hold his ground was quite endearing (whose side am I on?). Sort of a ‘rooting for the underdog’ thing, like the whole ‘Go on, fat boy, he’s still got some fight in him’ sort of feeling, if that makes any sense. It’s a shame L didn’t give Mauve the same treatment he witnessed, but I have a feeling you’re saving that up for an even steamier scene in a future update!
Quick question about Biggo though! L mentions he was her pet three generations back. So does that mean her pets go from Biggo → Unknown → Kale → Mauve?
5. Mauve Meets Girl
Aw, I actually felt bad for Mauve for being so lonely. But at least it’s confirmed that Heather visits him from time to time (other than the one scene we had in the earlier update). Also, I like how L has been treating Mauve’s weight gain as a form of entertainment for her friends. I was actually surprised at how wholesome and fluffy this scene was. Darya is definitely an interesting addition to the mix and when she starts talking, the fuzziness came close to cracking my heart of stone, Darya telling Mauve that he’s sweeter than people think. And then the gorging, gosh. That was fun, Mauve just stuffing himself with burgers. And I loved the description of Darya playing with the pale fat belly. And then, her dialogue as she jerks him off was masterful, Mauve getting overly full but spurred on by the mounting pleasure as Darya describes his body. Such a different ambience compared to Weigh In, even though both scenes were effectively talking about Mauve’s weight gain, as evidenced by the Hog’s eventual climax. I really enjoyed this scene, despite my usual tastes being more aligned with the scheming and horny L. I wonder if L will let her other viewers have fun with Mauve, perhaps some not as gentle as Darya, and maybe even some participants of the male variety! If Mauve is scared of the red-skull dildo, I wonder how he’d react to an actual boner haha
6. Mauve was so cool and awesome
Hottest scene ever. 10/10. Everyone definitely clapped.
7. Typos
Hope it’s not too nit-picky, but there were quite a few typos here and there. From my notes, I have:
“spread his feed” instead of ‘feet’ (Weigh In)
“cheapest chair their was” instead of ‘there’ (Weigh In)
“Lily hadn’t feed him any less” instead of ‘fed’ or ‘been feeding’ (Stinky)

“droll flowing from his grinning mouth” instead of ‘drool’ (Glimpse of the Future)
“Mauce could only watch” instead of Mauve (Glimpse of the Future)
“Sarah said, fiercely” instead of Darya (Mauve Meets Girl Part 1)

8. General Comments
Of course, that’s not to say that Mauve was the only highlight in this update. There were tons of fun to be had, like dabbling with mpreg, brainwashing the pink-haired elf to be a feeder for her husband and L being the ultimate feeder in the Dina scene, using the voice to force Dina into further gluttony. Oh, and also:
I made that comment back in March '23, and I was not expecting it, but Waxe delivers with aplomb - Coaly is back! Aaaand, he’s gone, haha! Honestly, when L mentioned that she couldn’t remember the guy’s name, I couldn’t help but detect a hint of Waxe in there, thinking ‘who is this character again?’. But thank you for letting us have one last chat with him. When L wistfully rued that Coaly couldn’t stick around getting lovely with fat, I felt that in the cockles of my heart. Me too, L. Me too.
However, every cloud has a silver lining, and judging from the breadcrumbs you dropped during the ice cream quest, we might have a new guy to fatten up in the future in the form of Hank the milk-guy, who already has a starting advantage of having a name! Here’s hoping he sticks around (and so do the pounds around his waist) long enough to get nice and plump! After all, with all that fresh creamy (and likely fattening) milk surrounding him all day, there’s no end to the amount of fun a certain pink-haired deviant could have!

This game has really been something so far. Character growth, new places to go, finding one’s self, etc. Something I really like is how the weight gaining has shown overtime. Keep up the wonderful work!
Perhaps I’m just dumb and somehow missed the obvious but I kinda thought Gretel was the Apostle of Wrath this whole time, just that she’s been trying to suppress that side of herself. Since during earlier parts of the game while they’re dealing with the “hero’s” she lets loose her angry side

It is also one of Mauve’s strongest defenses/points of resistance against Lily, which is why she is delighting in breaking it.
But there is also a bit of irony in it. Lily does this to Mauve because she views him as a bad person, but his love for his sister is one of the few truly good and decent parts of him, yet she destroys it anyway.
But just because he has his good points, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t also have far more bad points! While the scenes do make Mauve a rather pitiful figure, I do want it remembered that he was kinda a huge scum bag before this. One who would kill and betray just to get ahead in life. (Get a head. As for the order of pigs, you are correct there is one between Kale and Biggo. Speaking of, sorry for the false info before, Kale was originally meant to be in this scene, but Biggo muscled his way in. But we’ll see Kale again sometime soon, and perhaps one day put a BIG ol sprite to Biggo himself.

Hey, if you guessed the twist early that’s nothing to be sorry for! While it was never straight out said, there were some hints to it and the element of Gretel’s previously unexplained angry and violent urges!
And you are correct in each of the three adventurers being both a sponge and generator for each Apostles sin. Mauve both provided an outlet for Lily’s lust and provided it. Heather took Sebastian’s sloth and became a lazy fatass.
And Violet took in Gretel’s wrath via the torture, and she provided it by going up the endless staircase fighting monsters.
There was admittedly a scene EARLY on where Gretel tube fed Violet. In-game I’ll say that was Gretel getting her wires crossed and trying to force herself to absorb gluttony energy. Out of game, I’ll say it was update 1 and I didn’t have things as well planned out.
But again, congrats on seeing the Wrath reveal early! I challenge you to discover the second major twist that is coming in the Fall for one of the main characters…
I think one of the previous title cards also gave it away since for Gretel’s reflection it shows a demon. But looking at it, it makes me think that perhaps the twist is something like Sebastian isn’t the Apostle, but it’s instead his Cynthia (I think that’s her name) since I don’t actually think we’ve seen Sebastian use any powers, just his knowledge of medicine. Plus, what’s lazier and more slothful than not even being bothered to used your apostle powers and instead have someone else do it for you?
i have not played this game for like over 2 years, did i read correctly that one of apostles gains weight now? Because i consider going back to it and replaying it from the very beginning
That’s correct, in the last 2(maybe 3) updates, one of the main characters has started to gain and has grown quite a fair bit, easily surpassing a good amount of the townsfolk
That sounds like a lot of gained weight, i guess i’ll need to check it on my own, it would also be interesting to play as fat character (besides these weird memories parts or when you visit someone in cell), but if they surpassed a lot of villagers, then i’ve my doubt about them being mobile at all
As for E119, the way Lily said the mistresses title, I thought it was implying they set up like religious figure heads in the town to take over when they leave. Like the mistress being someone akin to a authority figure in their town, someone like Maya receiving a title akin to her feeder role, etc. Also, the gallery room I realized I missed old content from the other updates (I usually like to play games with kind of a blind run first until completion before trying alternate routes) so we are all good. Lastly, if the next update is in that wooden box, Im sorry I think Im gonna have to get Gretel to yeet that Mom out the way…yanno…WITH HER BEING THE FREAKING APOSTLE OF WRATH AND ALL!!! Good twist and good work once again. I hope the bug fixes weren’t too difficult to fix as well, sorry :<
@Aeron As you asked for an 0.8 save, and for anyone else who needs a save, I’ve made a full list of saves. The folder will have a save for each update. Slot 2 is at the start of Update 2, Slot 3 is the start of update 3, and so on. If you need a save at the start of Update 1…just hit new game.
Where to put it? Unzip this folder. Take the “save” folder, then go to the Apostles game file, go to ‘www’ and past the folder. This WILL over-write any
saves in those slots you might have. If you want to just take a single save from the list you can by posting in your save folder, but please note the
important note below.
IMPORTANT NOTE! Rpg maker sometimes gets confused if you only copy the indiviudal saves, and not the whole folder. If the save is not displaying in the
correct slot, then create a manual save in that slot, then overwrite it with the chosen save from this folder.
Going from the end of the last update where all looks lost for her to soloing the parody apostles while giving exposition is just perfect. She is terrifying though- I can see why Sebastian is afraid.
Makes me wonder- she’s dealing with enemies with mind control. Are Alexandria and Jean Luc immune or dangerously vulnerable?
