This game is great! I’m loking forward to see the next story.
If there’s one thing I hope in this game, it’s to turn down text sounds or raise sounds like gulp, belly noises, and burps. Because both of these sounds enter the se part, the sound of the letter sometimes drowns out the other sound. But that’s just me, so don’t worry too much about it.
I can’t wait to see your next project and watch Autumn grow. Thank you for a great game. I hope this project continues
I do not say this lightly
This is one of the best projects on this entire website. I deeply adored this game! I loved the art style, the writing was charming and fun. The characters were lovable and interesting, though I wish we could learn mercs name. I really liked the design of the merchant. I ADORE Autumn though, she’s just too cute! What a charming and lovable character!!!
And I appreciate seeing the hints of her weight gain already at the end! I was worried itd be one of those games where she can stuff herself forever but never gain a pound, but I am expecting to be pleasantly surprised.
Regardless, I found the combat fun, while still RPGMaker-y it had some unique gimmicks that made it fun, I loved Merc having a self-damage gimmick and WISH he had TAUNT or something to lure in attacks, that would fit his character and kit well! I liked Autumn’s moves but didn’t feel like they were integrated super naturally, Bread-wise. Regardless, looking forward to more of this game!!!
I have a bug when starting up the game ( Fossil needs to be the first plugin). I must say i play on mobile with joiplay. Any sollutions for it?
I absolutely love the art. It’s so expressive and funny. Really looking forward to upcoming updated.
Going in to this game, I honestly expected not to like it. Usually I’m not a huge fan of projects on this site that take some emphasis off of the fats and focus more on stuff like narrative and dialogue, but I actually ended up being very pleasantly surprised.
Let me just say this - the game is very fun. The writing is funny, the art is fantastic, the characters are likeable, and the gameplay, while not exactly groundbreaking, is definitely different enough from standard RPGMaker faire to feel fun. All these factors together create an experience that feels very polished, and was genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. The biggest issue with the game is that it left me wanting more at the end since it ended so soon.
Overall, great game! Excited to see how the next update continues the story.
I really like how this game was developed. It’s more animated and advanced than SBS ( No offense to Click. That’s still my favorite game too.)
Just a few questions to Bucket:
-
Is there gonna be a timeline for the next update?
-
Since 8/8 is a month away, are there at least a few non-canon Vore for Autumn?
-
Why is Autumn’s dad has such a vendetta? He seemed like a nice guy.
This is the only RPGMaker game I have ever enjoyed in my entire life
Incredibly fun game, despite the few clichés the game is very fun. The writing is witty and got a lot of laughs out of me and the pacing is slow enough for me to understand the situation but also fast enough to keep my interest. The sprites, artwork, use of UI and pretty much everything else almost made me forget that this game was made using rpg-maker, so I commend you for the originality as it really makes the game stand out from the rest. The only flaw in this game that really bugs me is that is not yet finished, so I am really looking forward to future installments
Alright, so the game’s been out for a good two days, and I’ve gotten a ton of really nice words from you all! We even passed 1000 downloads! Thanks so much!
Since this was the first release, I’m interested to hear what you guys would like to see in the future for the game, specifically relating to what worked in this first release or what could be improved. Obviously, no promises but I’d like to hear what’s on your minds! And a big thanks to those in the thread who have already shared their thoughts on what they’d like in the future.
I’d like to see more weight gain content. I’m sure you’ve already got plans for it, I’d just like it to be a focus rather than just an afterthought. In regards to gameplay, I enjoy how there isn’t any random mobs or grinding in the game and I would prefer if it stays that way. I’m here for the story and a few purposeful battles, not to fight a million repetitive RPG Maker battles. If random mobs are introduced however, I think it’d be a good idea to add some flavor content to it such as an ability to make humanoid’s gain weight.
And personally, I enjoy how you seem to automatically heal after every fight. It cuts out the need to constantly back track to an inn to restore your stats.
Hey congrats on the 1,000 downloads. I have a quick list of some stuff I liked and would maybe want to see more of in the future.
- I enjoyed the interactivity with various objects and NPCs. Made the world feel alive and was fun exploring around. I quite like a linear game when it feels like more of an active world this way.
- I appreciated there being no random encounters. Random encounters have the ability to drain my motivation to play to a minimum. So I was glad they weren’t in this game.
- I also agree with others have said and it’s super nice to not have to heal after every battle. Some nice QoL stuff.
- Loved the way characters interacted as well in the story. Curious to see how they shape up. And what other characters may join the story.
- Having art for certain scenes in an rpg maker game like this really helps to showcase what’s happening and give out more details that can’t be shown in just plain rpg maker. So, I definitely like seeing art pieces for big moments and belly scenes.
- I, for one, am all for weight gain and I’m curious to see how that will play out in this game if it will. Though I do enjoy a good amount of stuffing as well and burps.
- There is definitely a lot of possibilities around the antics that a drunk Autumn and Merc could get into, I found the pair hilarious sober but even funnier drunk.
- And of course I need to mention that goblins are always a welcomed addition in my eyes as well.
Mostly overall I enjoyed what I played and kinda just want more of it.
Loved the clothes try on scene, one of my fav songs, and it was wicked funny. Looking forward to future updates!
Honestly, I think custom overworld sprites (at least for main characters) would make a big difference. seeing default RPG maker assets combined with the great custom artwork felt awkward sometimes.
Amazing game, I thoroughly enjoyed the short game. I thought Autum was cute and Merc was a great addition. I hope to see more of this in the future
Loved it, and I can barely contain my excitement for what (and who) comes next.
I have to say that this is one of, if not the best things to come out of this site for a while! Everything from the presentation to the characters is top notch. While there wasn’t a ton of variety, I honestly think that is a good thing since it allowed us to be introduced to everything important without overwhelming us. This is a demo after all, and the main purpose is setting up the rest of the game and communicating what it will be like to the players, and it does a phenomenal job of that. I especially appreciate Merc for not being angry, sarcastic, or horny over Autumn’s eating. His reactions to her appetite were surprising, and I personally found it to be refreshing.
As for anything I’d like to see added, I would like more sound effects. They can easily take a good scene and make it a great one. I’d also recommend adding more options in combat sooner rather than later, because while it was fine for the demo, it isn’t something spectacular as it is right now. Thankfully I can see that there is more variety planned from how Autumn’s options are presented, so I have faith that you have a good idea on how to implement them. Other than that, what I might want is more and bigger (heh) content, which should be coming anyways. Any other suggestions that I have would really be nitpicks, so good job and good luck!
Personally I’m more into bloating/Stuffing, and slightly WG… Which is why I really loved the end of the 1st chapter, the stuffing scene was great, and the little WG of Autumn was super cute
I already posted a review of the game on itch_io, but just wanted to add a few suggestions of features :
-
I’d love to see consumption of food items in mechanics added to the game (if that’s possible to implement). For instance Autumn can eat between fights (either from inventory or through interacting with NPCs at bars/restaurants/INN) and this would affect how stuffed/bloated she is (and possible how fat if you do it too much?).
-
Would be great if we could see the appearance of the Heroin between (and during?) fights. I know it’s possible add this feature either though menue or with constant picture added to HUD.
-
Would be very cool too if there was some “force feeding” mechanics you can use against enemies during fights… Like for instance stuffing a starving bandit with bread (or anything) until she surrenders or is too uncomfortably bloated to fight ?
-
Last thing, I think adding at least some scene or interaction that implies some belly rub after decent stuffing is always particularly welcome
Oh and also thanks for making the game at all, that’s amazing in the first place
I forgot about this, but during the farmer’s market segment, the NPCs that were moving didn’t have collision, just in case that wasn’t intentional.
1000 downloads! Great job!!
Personally, I think the state of the game so far is already a great direction for it. A story that can be taken seriously with lots of moments for breaks and levity is exactly how a project like this should go and you’re already nailing that.
Although I appreciated the linearity of the game so far, with less of a focus on random encounters and more of a focus on you getting to where you needed to be, I personally would like to see more open areas we’d be able to explore, especially sidequests that encourage travelling back to previous towns and cities with new interactions in regards to the changes in party (New members, new outfits, new… weight).
And on that note, I am very curious to see how the WG would play out. I’d personally like for it to only advance during the plot and being more of a slow-burn progression (depending on how long the story will end up of course) rather than being something that the players influence. I think character interactions and events involving the weight would be less tedious to take account of and would flow better. How big she’d be able to get is also something I’m curious to see!
I also really liked Merc’s flashback scene at the end of the game and would really like to have more moments like that, I haven’t even known Merc for long but I’m already endeared to him and am really interested in learning more about him. Small moments like that between the humor do wonders in making these characters feel real.
But most importantly, even after giving my suggestions, I think the main thing I want from the project is that you make something you want to make! I have faith it will be a fantastic project and I look forward to what you share next.
I think side quests and new characters will make it better. I can’t wait to see again Zero
