Cause for Concern - Stuffing / Vore Focused RPG Maker Game

I’m only up to the part where you get Sami to fully join the party. So i probably have more content to go through.

After putting in some decent hours into the game, I’d like to say that this game is an absolute gem, and has quickly become one of my favorites on the site.

It hits the nail on the head when it comes to what i’ve always wanted in a game of this genre:

  • RPG with the option to talk to your party members and see how they’re doing.
  • Able to cook some delicious looking food you can feed said party.
  • An interesting story and well written characters (imo i find all of them very fun to talk to, and the story seems interesting even though i haven’t finished the current build’s content yet.)
  • Fun options when it comes to ingredient gathering/money spending that circle back to the main event (feeding the girls).
  • Some degree of combat

Not to mention the art is outstanding, Clinko has been putting in some awesome work!

Light spoilers:

My favorite character possibly ever is Izutsumi, so naturally, Lucy is definitely the character i like the most! She merges well with the other party members’ dynamics and personalities.
Personally I’m not really a fan of vore content, but Sami is really cute as well!

In terms of difficulty the game isn’t really challenging at all, and there’s definitely room for improvement in some areas relating to combat, although i understand that’s not necessarily the focus of the game. (At least for me, i didn’t really find the need to use the special skills or block button at all yet).

Some QoL stuff would be nice as well, for example being able to see a recipe’s ingredient requirements without needing to interact with the campfire, such as when buying ingredients in town or from the Merchant. It’d probably make it easier to see what you need at a glance rather than trying to remember.

I did also find an assortment of typos here and there (forgot to take screenshots :< I’ll do better next time) and also a bug relating to the character swap mechanic during some segments. It seems to still allow for character swaps with the S shortcut in areas where it transitions from combat to more cutscene focused (such as the cave where you get captured by the captain) leading to stuff like having two of the same character show up during dialogues.

As much as i enjoyed the game and the characters, i have one singular gripe and it’s that… there’s no lasting weight gain content… (yet…?) :frowning:

Other than that I’m really excited to see where the game goes from here, and am looking forward to future updates for sure!

One thing i’d like to ask, mostly just to get the curiosity out of my mind: I can’t help but notice some parallels with Mythical-chickin’s Unfulfilling Isekai Simulator (Also another one of my favorites and I’m still holdin’ out for an update…), is this purely a coincidence or did you take some inspiration from it?

I wish nothing but the best for the team, and thank you for all the great work you’ve put into this game!
