Cause for Concern - Stuffing / Vore Focused RPG Maker Game

And i forgot to post my question, how big will be the max capacity for girls?

Came across a not-too-significant bug, but thought it’d be helpful to post here if you weren’t aware.

After completing the Mina Guild Contest Quest, it said it increased her stomach capacity by 4 (if I’m remembering correctly). Though when I returned to camp, it had reset it from 33 back to 25.

Also, after getting the stomach capacity back to 33, it remained at that hard cap, which I thought might be intentional, but I couldn’t say for sure.

That’s all —love the game so far, and I can’t wait for the next update.

Drew Luci. My friend and I headcanon her as having Meowth’s accent.

Accent slips out when she’s mad. She claims it’s a south-eastern accent or something, but a plot twist near the 2/3 point of the game reveals that the location of wherever she tells people she’s from is just one house that belongs to an old cat lady and Luci just picked up the habit of ā€œcat/baby-talkingā€ with the cats from a young age to the point that she was considered to have a speech impediment that she had to later unlearn.

That’s MY headcanon :cat:

Nerds, I wanted to say that I have been a huge fan of yours for years and have admired your ability to write such hilarious and infinitely lovable characters as well as perfectly blending belly stuffing, vore and belching kinks with RPG mechanics. I’m enjoying Cause For Concern a lot and I think that this cast of characters might be my favorite of yours so far. I’m eagerly awaiting the next update and hoping with every fiber of my being that you do actually end up adding weight gain for the girls like you mentioned.

Seriously, I would give ANYTHING to fatten up Luci so that she looks this big and round all the time!

I agree with PlusUltraInu’s point. Personally, I also love the contrast between slender arms and a large belly, so I’d be thrilled if there were scenes where only the belly gains weight, not just normal weight gain. (Because I can enjoy both an obese belly and an obese belly stuffed to bursting with food.) It’d be great if a devil appeared who only makes bellies fat. Of course, I like normal weight gain and stuffing too. I look forward to future game developments. (This is a DeepL translation.)

Agree with PlusUltraInu and aruaruaru - big, round belly and slender arms is the best shape. Of course, if she was pregnant, she'd have that shape for a good while, haha... Now I’m letting my inner demons slip out.

Hehe, glad to see that both aruaruaru and Throwback523 share my love and obsession with the extreme contrast of an enormous fat belly paired with an otherwise slender physique. Seems like a few other people agree too, based on the likes my post got (Thanks guys!). Whenever it comes to kink stuff like belly stuffing, weight gain, and belching, I have always been a sucker for the cartoonishly over-the-top depictions of them, i.e. fat accumulating solely in the belly to the point it looks like the person swallowed an enormous ball or a character belching with such intensity and force that it can literally knock someone off their feet.

If weight gain solely focused on the belly is off the table for the sake of variety, I would be more than happy to also see it in the butt, thighs, and breasts. Fat accumulated in the face leading to things like puffy cheeks or double chins has never done anything for me personally, so I’m hoping that’s not included or is at least kept to a minimum. All of this being said, I will be incredibly grateful for ANY permanent fatty weight gain that Nerds chooses to give us if it’s implemented! :crossed_fingers:

That’s a very cute catgirl

I feel that we’ll get along very well. Honestly, Belly Inflation is my favorite, but since it probably won’t be added to this game, I won’t be greedy. (This is a DeepL translation.)

Oh, yeah totally! I’m not joking when I say that about 90% of the friends I have online come from our bond over shared kinks and fetishes. Pretty much this meme right here XD

Belly inflation can be a ton of fun too, honestly! Air, water, and especially slime inflation (which Nerds was so kind to give us with Mina). Belly stuffing that leads to weight gain is still my personal favorite though, because I enjoy seeing all of that greedy and gluttonous indulgence leave a lasting layer of adipose on our characters. Plus, I like fantasizing about just how squishy, soft, and pliable all that fat must be if you sink your hands into it or rest your head on it/bury your face in it.

Same fetish but just slowly and detailed…

Hell yeah, hard agree with that - wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of weight gain (I’m only on this forum for Nerds’ stuff) that leads to the character getting super flabby in the arms/legs/face but if we’re talking it all just going straight to the GUT and it becomes all round and jiggly? That’s 100% prime stuff, that’s the best kind of body shape and I love that we see so much of it in Cause for Concern and Some Bullshit.

The fun part about waiting for further updates, is that i can maximize the investment aspect in the time it will take

the reluctant secondary girls are always more fun to stuff than the primary always-hungry girls imho

So I’m doing my, like, 5th playthrough and something occurred to me

Driton

I’m probably overthinking this, but he looks pretty similar to Pro, and the fact that he has his own portrait at all while the mayor of Brac doesn’t makes me feel like this might be intentional

More specifically, I think he is actually related to Pro, being another bastard child from the sailor that fathered Pro, and, as implied by the 2nd QNA (or was it during the ending of the main game?), Deuter

Comparing the name ā€œDritonā€ to ā€œTritagonistā€ is a bit of a stretch, but it’s such a specific name that I can’t help but feel it’s intentional

I don’t think this is going to be relevant at all in the long run, I just think it’s a for fun gag
And if it wasn’t intended in the first place, well, it’s my unshakeable headcanon instead now

Previous forum experiences makes me very hesitant to double post, but it’s been nearly two weeks, so I think it’s fine!

Behold! A silly little bingo card for whenever the next update releases! I didn’t really consider placement at all, but the rightmost column seems like the most likely candidate just from a gut feeling. Either way, I don’t think the update will be THAT soon, I just thought this would be fun to make. I’ll go into detail about some of the less obvious choices…

ā€It Came From Lantrum! updates firstā€ I don’t actually think this will happen in hindsight.

ā€Mechanical Man is secondary/tertiary antagonistā€ Meeting the main antagonist right off the bat? I mean, MM seems really badass, but it’s obvious there will be one or two above him in rank!

ā€Bandit King returnsā€ I’m not sure whether Mina actually killed him or not, but if not, I feel like he’s probably going to be a recurring gag antagonist, he just has that…lovably pathetic vibe that’s kind of associated with those characters, like Junior Troopa in Paper Mario 64.

EDIT: ā€œMore Dungeon Meshi referencesā€ Technically obvious, but I should clarify that anything involving the dwarves won’t count since they’re already discussed in the current version and that would be somewhat unfair! Unless one of the dwarves is a chef who teaches Petar his way…that would be very on the nose and would count as a fair reference!

ā€SB Non Canon cameoā€ A cameo in the same vein as Sophia and Rosalia in the initial game.

ā€Dwarf Girl is Not Playableā€ In a (public) patreon post from Clinko, he included dialogue frames of a dwarf girl. The post was tagged ā€œNEW PARTY MEMBER!??!?!?ā€ or something, but that doesn’t guarantee playable! She could just be like Perri or Jane. However, the reason there is also a space for if she IS playable, is because, well, it’d make a whole lot of sense for her to get bonuses from the ā€œalchemyā€ guild, yes?

ā€Greed Demon Antagonistā€ Or something like that. I know the demons of SB aren’t deadly sin based, eg, Lady Esse is HUNGER not gluttony, and Laus is GLORY not pride. Regardless, it would make sense considering what the MM and his forces are doing. Raiding and thieving…enslavement…mining…high tech equipment…plus that one random ass mention of a demon awakening on the other side of the world or something at the end of the body swap story Clinko posted on DA. EDIT: In hindsight, it’s very likely Varice (from avarice, greed in latin) mentioned in the 2nd SB QNA. He makes incredibly art, machinery, and weaponry.

ā€Petar lore dropā€ That boy is NOT normal!

ā€Deuter appearsā€

Do remember that according to Perri, Cause for Concern’s setting is east relative to SB’s! (Though I will admit, this line was written in 2022, I have no idea how long CFC has been stewing in Nerd’s neurons!)

ā€Chuckā€ You’ll never be free from me! I’d love to do some charity work in these trying times…and teach that chef kid some…proper feeding techniques, so to speak!

ā€Evil Commander.pngā€ Among the sprites for the game is a sheet for one Evil Commander. There’s some manifest file (I don’t know how RPGMaker works!) that refers to this sprite as male, hence why I believe that he could be the secondary antagonist, with MM being tertiary, and a female (for that vore goodness like Nerds mentioned he could of done with a female Laus) Greed demon as the main antagonist. Oh, and to be clear, Evil Commander does not seem to be just a stock RPGMaker asset (also evidenced by the…whatever the fuck file!)

And that’s about it! The rest should be self explanatory! Chuck hopes you join him in playing a little bingo when the time comes!

I almost guarantee that bottom-right corner is getting filled in the next update.

I mean, how else would Sami get Petar up the waterfall?

Good stuff! I’d probably lean towards ā€œRow 3.ā€ I don’t think Deuter will make a significant appearance but a cameo is highly plausible with that line, which I had forgotten about, and I think we’ll probably see more from the farm mechanic in the future.

I’d go with Row 5 but it leans too much on Erin being playable, and someone in the party learning magic - magic seems pretty hard to come by in the Nerdsverse!

Well, do remember, Sami and Petar are about to head up to an island full of magic elves! I don’t see it as completely out of the question for Petar, since we already know something is up with him.
(Also, good catch on Erin’s name! I didn’t think to check the file name for it!)
