Cause for Concern - Stuffing / Vore Focused RPG Maker Game

Alright, I just want to start off saying that the game is extremely fun; I love the gameplay loop, I love the premise, and I love the characters so far, with Luci being my favorite, only beating out the others by a little.

Mira and Petar gave me the same vibes as Zuke and Mayday from the game No Straight Roads, and I am all here for it. Sami also reminds me of a certain character with how she responds to something like the scale and brush, but I can’t remember who exactly but I also find it very funny.

I will say, I’m very mad, only because I had been going “oh the content has to end soon, right?” and the moment I got comfortable and stopped thinking that, the content ended. I was devestated lol.

On a less joking note, I didn’t encounter any bugs or breaks in the game, so everything seemed fine on that front.

All to say, I not only had a blast playing what is avalible, but I’m also excited to see what’s to come. Thank you, to you, clinko, and all of the other devs on this site who continue to pour passion into their games and keep the community going.

Looking through the artwork, I see there’s a scene with Sami and a bandit, but it’s the only thing I haven’t found yet. How do I get to that scene?

If im correct your talking about Dagger Daniels scene. After getting Sami, take her with you through the forest dungeon route until you find the fishing area and there should be a dock to the upper right. Take that alternate route and you should see the scene.

Ah there we go, that unit just didn’t show for me anytime I took her there

good scene too, definitely the most unapologetic vore thing so far

On Clinkos twitter announcement for the game its confirmed that it takes place in the same universe as SB.

Well well New Game from Nerds and the team.

So I have to say I do have the game Writing is still funny each Character work well together and fit there roles very good making some very funny scenes plus the story is great as i do want to know more about the world and what happen next, combat is nice as I do like the action RPG mixing up the old turn base for Some BS but i do wish for a button mapping option, then there is the cooking it is a nice favor as you cook food to buff a characters can be fun and i can see how over time there be harder fights and you have to pick the right food for the job but man this is a very good start to something fun.

I think I may have discovered a bug involving a certain sidequest in Nova Lygos:

The sidequest is the one with Sophia (nice SB cameo appearance btw) in The Broken Drum Bar with the 6 Very Berry Colas she requests for you to deliver to her.
I made the sodas and gave them but after I gave them to her, the 6 colas are still in my inventory (the quest log still marks it as completed) and also I can continue to offer her the sodas and replay the scene as long as I stay in the room, if I exit the bar and go back in it goes to the post-quest state with Sophia pleasantly fattened up from her off-screen binge.

Edit:I realized my mistake about the quest reward, I didn’t know how to scroll up and down on the quest screen at the time, see my follow-up post in the replies section.

They’ve done it again! This is such a delight, I love all the characters already.

The startup screen music goes hard, where’s it from?

All of Petar’s music is from the beastie boys, specifically the Mix Up album. I am sure some of their more vocal tracks will be used when petar is in the right state of mind.

Good to know, I got disappointed in latest twitter shit so I gave up on it completely like inconsistent policy, restricted browsing without giving document or face - ffs. Anyway thanks for that piece of info though considering universe is bit vast term it can mean like distance that even full power Esse at her prime or Gemuse Empire could have traveled. Unless you meant same world

Similar to earlier posted bugs, both vines are climable

there is visual bug telling you that you still have stuff yet you can’t make it (trying to cook second time during first time cooking event):

Also as a joke you may add name Teyler - for item shoppe (it is less common name variant of Taylor - maybe strange brother XD)

Edit Again:
Noted one bandit turn ice - is it elaborated joke or wrong sprite?

its a refference to spy from team fortress 2, one of his weapons on backstab freezes the enemy

Small bug in one of first Sami random maps you can fall into water - nothing troubling but mildly annoying I’d say

Played up to the end of the game so far, just wanted to theory craft a bit cause I think that’s fun.

Mina is giving a lot of Emmie-energy despite seemingly having no demon-related reason for her gigantic appetite and metabolism. Couple that with a lot of other quirks of hers - her brute strength, boundless energy after eating, desire to learn magic, and other physical traits (red eyes, pronounced canine teeth, pink hair beneath her brown hair); I have little reason to doubt she is related to Esse in some way. I’m currently going under the belief that the timeline of this game takes place around the same time as Some Bullshit’s story, and that’s important as Emmie begins SB at the age of 18 and Mina begins this game at a slightly older, 18 and 9 months. Esse was felled many years ago and has inhabited many women across history before Emmie, and as soon as her current host dies, her spirit moves to another. If the timeline matches up, I’m willing to say that Mina is the daughter of Mina’s previous host prior to possessing Emmie, adopted by the Marimonte family in Splatato under unknown circumstances. It would explain certain “oddities” with her and, while largely unimportant to the story probably being told, I think it’d be the most plausible explanation for why she is the way she is. Just a theory tho, but fun to brainstorm nonetheless. The timeline placement of this game could be way before or after Some Bullshit for all I know and I’ll just be left with egg on my face. But that’s the fun in theories.

Wow, I’ve really loved this game so far just as much as I loved Some Bullshit. I’m also very happy to see vore getting a canon appearance and even a bit of spotlight.

One thing I was wondering, because it is mentioned a couple times, though I don’t believe any numbers are given, how tall are all the characters? From the art and conversations, I can tell that Mina is quite tall, while Sami and Petar are quite short. I’d assume Luci is somewhere in the middle.

I love tall girls, and Eloa was my favourite character in Some Bullshit for that very reason, so while not quite as tall, I’m glad to see that one of the main characters is a tall girl in this game too.

Anyway much love and great work.

Mina is over 6 ft tall, Luci is like 5’10, 5’11, Petar is 5’5 or 5’6, Sami is 5’4. That’s how I think about it now.

I have a different theory, but I want to get to the end of the current build before I post it, so that I have seen all the current content and see if I can spot anything else that lines up with what I’m thinking.
