Crusader Kings 2 - 3.0's weight gain

Dark Ages weren’t that dark, by and large - at least, for the people in charge. Integration with existing cannibal events would make sense, though.

“dark age” refers to the absolute brain drain and destruction of knowledge from the collapse of the world order, in the case of CK 2 it refers to the fall of the roman empire till the revival of modern europic powers with the rise of the HRE and France

I’ve been attempting to personally do some of the localizations at the moment. Still super excited for more fetish-based events!

So, I made a ton of localizations for all the different events(that were made by failmuseum), though I could probably include more text for the narrative gaining events because the expanded dialogue box offers so much room. I could also detail some other events a bit more because of this, but so far it’s a prototype.

The “friend learning how to bake” chains still need to be implemented. I tried messing around with the events but really just screwed up in the end. (I attempted to make a system where both the player and the AI could confess their feedee/fat fetish to one another at the same time, and trying to utilize this so that the greater chain of fetish decisions would open up)

I could also probably add in extra options depending on what traits the players have, but once again, these localizations are prototypes.

I’m at least satisfied with what I have now.

I’m glad you are enjoying the mod :slightly_smiling_face:. If it’s alright with you, would we be able to see the localizations you made?

I also will be adding an option for characters to reveal their fetish at the same time. The way it will work is when a character with a fetish has a romantic partner reveal that they have a fetish, there will be an event option to reveal your’s (or the AI’s) at the same time.

Anyway, I did manage to work that event out! Now I’m looking to find a way for two lovers/married characters to indulge in their fat/feedee fetishes. One-sided dinner dates are also going to be exciting.

Oh, and I forgot to mention: I focused more on the feedee side of things(sorry, I’m a bit biased) with the localizations.

These are pretty well done :slightly_smiling_face:. Strange that you couldn’t post the file here directly, since my account was only about a week old when I posted the first demo. I have a question, are these for personal use only, going to be in an alternate localization mod, being offered to be put into the base mod, or something else? If you would be okay with me using these in the mod, I’d give you full credit for your work (though I also need permission to make light edits if I felt it was necessary, but I try to avoid editing other’s work as much as possible). I understand completely though if that isn’t what you’d want.

It’s perfectly fine if you want to use these, or if you want to edit anything! The silly new events I make will probably be mine to personally use, since I’m not the best at modding.
It is your project after all, so this’ll be my little contribution.

I have to say, though, I’m really looking forward to the expansion(no pun intended) on fetish-based events. And if there’s anything else that needs localization, I’m always happy to chip in on that.

Pretty much every common or repeatable event in the mod is going to have at least one option related to the fetish traits, I want to make the fetish traits really game changing when it comes to my events as well as the user directed decisions. Yesterday I got a couple event chains that heavily use the traits mostly done. One of them is the clothing bursting/tearing event chain. The way it starts is a hidden event will roll to determine whether or not you are going to have a wardrobe malfunction, if you will it roll again to determine whether you only ripped a little through your clothes, or if you bursted out of it. The person who had the wardrobe malfunction will have several options based on traits like usual (one branch to gain the feedee fetish trait if you meet the requirements, and another option if you already are a feedee fetishist). After that, all spouses, lovers, and consorts will get a response to what happened. They will have a chance to gain the fat fetish trait if they qualify for the option. Two (might add more later) of the responses will give the original character another event if the response involved them. This includes getting yelled at by wrothful, temperate, cruel, zealous etc. characters, and the other is being teased for what happened. The nature of the teasing will be based on whether or not it’s coming from a fat fetishist. If it’s not from a fetishist, it’s a light hearted laugh at their expense, and if it is from a fetishist it will have some sexual undertones and include them getting a bit grabby. Being teased is another chance for the character to get the feedee trait (with a higher chance if the person teasing is a fat fetishist).

The other is a product of slight boredom from working on that for hours straight. It is a bit more on the fantasy side admittedly, so I may make it only appear if you have the supernatural content turned on in the game rules. If you have the hunting focus from the way of life dlc (will very likely add another way to do this for those that don’t have the dlc), in vanilla, there is an event where you can come across a witch who sells you a potion to become a better hunter with mixed results. I made a mostly indistinguishable copy of the event where she gives you a potion that makes you rapidly gain weight when you drink it (+5 weight level, as well as an opportunity to get the feedee fetish.) She will then lead you to her shop where she sells other weight gain related potions. The potion affects will be as follows:

weight gain potion - gain a small amount of weight - can be used on self and others

female form potions - choose which female oriented body part the weight gain is focused on - can be used on others and yourself (if female)

enhanced glutton potion - potion that gives people the glutton trait and a hidden modifier that cancels out stewardship penalty from the glutton trait. - can be used on self and others

fetish potion - give a character a fetish of your choice if they don’t already have a fetish (it won’t work if they do) - can be used on self and others

fetish detection potion - allows you to see every character’s fetish if they have one. You won’t be able to expose them though (maybe I’ll add this later if your character’s intrigue is exceptionally high) - comes free with your first fetish potion and is consumed automatically

Blank slot - I can make one more potion

That’s cool! Can’t wait to see this implemented into the next version, now that the fetish traits are basically altering every aspect of the mod’s events.

After doing a bit of play testing, I am finding a lot of scripting errors in the demo. I’m going to try and iron them out today and post a fixed version of what I’ve got once again. Expect it later today or tommorow.

is all this new stuff between demo 2 and 1.0 gonna be compatible? like a game on demo 2 can just have 1.0 slapped in and it wont explode or anything?

Maybe, maybe not. I’m pretty sure 1.0 will explode old saves to some capacity (maybe completely, maybe just until the current generation that’s alive is dead), but the little update I’m posting tomorrow shouldn’t ruin preexisting saves, but I can’t make any promises. I wouldn’t recommend starting a campaign with my demo builds, I’d just screw around in them to see what I’ve made so far.

I have a quick question:
Will the new demo build feature ways for one-sided weight gain? Like, one-sided dinner dates so that fat fetishists can increase the weight of their lovers/spouses without increasing their own, or stuffing sessions between a willing gainer and feeder?

Not the one I’ll be posting soon, but I absolutely have plans to include both of those into the mod fairly soon. I’ve also thought about my “schedule” (lack of a better term) about uploading demos, I’m going to start posting demos whenever I have a fairly substantial amount of new stuff added. It would make it easier to get help from volunteers (again, thank you for offering to localize a few things), bug fixing will be easier if I can get feedback from the more recent things I’m adding, and I’d imagine people would enjoy it if I started posting more demos. So expect me to post more demos in the future.

You shouldn’t feel rushed to force out new builds if you feel they’re too buggy or unfinished. But, I digress: I’ve been trying to work on some one-sided weight gain methods (for example, stuffing sessions, with different kinds depending on the fat fetishist involved).

Nice! Thanks for telling me not to work myself to hard. I just don’t like my work to have to many issues when I’m showing it off.

Also just a heads up, for your events there are a couple rules with the fetish traits that you should keep in mind, 1. don’t make any event that can make a feedee turn into fat fetishist or vice versa. The reason is there will/can be leftover opinion modifiers and flags from when they were their original fetish, and 2. don’t make an event that causes someone to lose a fetish for the same reasons above.

Yeah, I just did one thing:

A barebones biyearly decision for feeders to stuff their feedee, with 3 different intensities (the AI is more often going to pick one depending on traits, for example, kind will usually choose lowest intensity, lustful will usually choose highest)

Now I’m working on making a sort of “focus” where a feeder can choose a lover, spouse, or concubine, and be presented with opportunities to influence their weight.(putting more food on their plate, offering some treats, etc) Gluttonous fall for it really easily(nearly 100% chance for each randomized event) while Temperate/Zealous will be nearly impossible in comparison.

I’m also working on another date type called a “bakery date” where the lover they choose is the one who eats all the food and, therefore, gains all the weight. It fundamentally works similarly to dinner dates.

Most of it is still WIP due to time constraints, and probably could be improved tenfold.

TL;DR:
I have a new Bakery Date system which involves one-sided weight gain, which is essentially the Dinner Date but with different localizations. (And no pestering/demanding)

I’m working with a stuffing system for feeders, which the AI can do to feedee players.

My last priority is finishing up the “influence weight” focus which will take more work than the rest.
