Crusader Kings 3: Weight Gain and Consequences

I’m pretty sure this could be bypassed, so for this mod nothing would change.

I’m curious about modifying the traits in the mod, how would one get rid of the fertility penalty?

Go to wherever the mod is installed, probably Documents/Paradox interactive/Crusader Kings III/mod

The traits will be in the common folder of the mod, probably
weight_gain_and_consequences/common/traits

Open wgac_traits.txt and find the trait you want to change

obese = {
	index = 537
	health = -0.4
	diplomacy = -4
	stewardship = -4
	martial = -4
	prowess = -10
	vassal_opinion = -10
	attraction_opinion = -10
	fertility = -0.3

If you wanted to remove the fertility penalty on this trait then remove the “fertility” line at the end or make the number positive to increase fertility.

Sweet thanks for the advice bro.

Question about the mod. Will this show any changes to your characters weight in visual form or is this all text base. Depending on that I may purchase the game and try it out.

Text based though their are nods to make your character much larger, Ck3 has great models

This is the mod that improves bodies making them much larger

Ok fantastic so we can see the progress of the gains with this correct?

Yeah they get fatter or lose weight over time. It’s weird how they programmed weight gain in ck3

Ok perfect well I think I might give this a purchase and see. As much as I like text I love to see it visually so this is a plus for me.

Also to be sure we do not need any DLC for this correct?

To my knowledge to use this mod no same for the body mod. I do recommend picking up the docs at some point since they are adding a court DLC which I hope will have weight gain content. Still ck3 is the better game to get into ck series since they offer information while playing with tones of in game guides

Not sure what this means. Is there anything i need to do for this?

You modify the load orders in the game play sets (another thing I like about ck3) the mod for the body needs to be higher on the list then the weight gain mod, so first it’s the body mod then the weight gain consequence mod. Other mods will tell you where it should be I. The load order.

If you’re just running the WG mod and body mod it should look like this

Do i have to have an account or link my steam account for this to work?

For these mods no, the WG mod is downloaded from here, the Body one is from Loverslab, if you want to add mods then you need to do so from either Paradox Mods, or Steam (I purchased my CK3 from steam so I did not have to link it)

all that is required for these mods is downloading and extracting them to the mod folder that CK3 creates on installation

Am I good to go?

No, you need to add them into a playset, when you do you should be good. When you’re done go into create a ruler to see if the traits are there, if so it should mean that the WG mod is working properly, and if you can make yourself HUGE then the body mod is working right
