I’d also reccomend stages that zoom out. I’ve been trying to add stages to Crushing Force, but finding stages that zoom out has been a bit of a challenge, but they do exist.

I mean, GL kinda has a weight gain/loss mechanic, since she loses size upon taking damage, but gains it upon eating food.

She is not available just yet, however you can download her separately (there is a version of her available for free on their patreon I think) and put her in the game much like exterior characters. (Do know that she is too big for the levels so you’ll only be seeing her legs)

Good game, def well made. But like every fighting game ever i am not good enough to actually learn it, props to the dev tho

I checked the new update, Kaze becomes the King(Tekken) of this game in cpu level 4…
felt like watching a cutscene with all the infinites;
spoiler for the arcade final boss and kinda hate it since I’m an amateur
Sarjiri as a final boss is good I guess though I barely done any damage with her, like cpu level being 8 which I set in the settings to difficulty level one to see how’s her match will be only to see a far jump to cpu level 8(from level 3 btw since difficulty level one), 2nd round the hitbox as the goal is aiming for her head to damage her despite another hyper armor is just not good and the hyper armor on everything is of course really annoying though the hyper armor can make sense due to Sarjiri’s size but at the point of not being able to damage her easily. Takes about 50+ restarts with GL to win yet I don’t feel satisfaction after that, I did tried every character I know how to play but jeez she’s too hard. And for the final one…yes at this I’m suck at this game and dead inside after that whole experience so only will be ending the arcade run after beating Zumba before Sarjiri and that’s that. I failed to mention, the only I was able to cheese her in both round with GL is in 1st round I was using the ice beam to freeze and after knocking her down I decided to eat so I can use the stun burp then recover ice and in 2nd round just deliberately go for the middle so she can’t attack you and doing a heavy standing like GL’s Butt Bwoomph move it will does good dmg, and her Blizzard special

Anyone got any clue how to get this up and running on a steam deck? Been trying to figure it out for a minute but not sure how exactly.

I assume it would be the same as on linux
what you have to do is get a linux executable from the ikemen github and place it in the crushing force folder (nothing else from the download is needed).
then you need to install a font called “msgothic.ttc” (can be downloaded here) by placing it in “/usr/share/fonts”. you have to have permission to do that, what I did was right click on the fonts folder then under “root actions” I opened it in file manager and then just pasted in the font. (there is probably some more “legit” way to install fonts but this worked out for me)
after that you should be able to just run the game with the ikemen executable
Is a pair of normies playing, but It’s a sign of the game getting more traction. Also saw a couple of clips on Twitter a week ago

Got it up and running using Proton experimental, only issue is that now audio is just entirely dead and doesn’t play a sound -_-

I was able to get it running with sound today by using Proton GE, so maybe try that!
