Currently Unnamed Expansive Furry RPG - Expansion for Hire?

In order to get a little more feed back since I’ve got only about… 3 bosses for this set up, I got a different question and poll here:

Game design can have some consequences on Waistlines… Not me of course, I do crunches.

That looks really good and cute!

So, got the next boss lined up, but doing a bit more of the voting here:

Talking about species and gender of the cursed slime knight.

Looking for some feedback for this boss before I get too deep into her design.

I concur with IllusionFoxx2 on twitter: make her slime a nice blueberry blue, with her armor being a green or even orange to match

well looks nice there mad, only sugestion i might have is maybe add a transparency effect of some sport if possible…then again that sounds like ir could be a pain if it is just ignore me

There is actually a transparency effect going on, it’s just hard to tell on Twitter:

So I can imagine that it’s weird at this point, but she’s not fully transformed into a slime yet.

She now has a name, and in keeping with the trend of my original characters who are more important, she’s named after a drink - Marsala.

Sorry for all the spamming, but I was on fire with this design and boss:

I have NO idea what’s happening here.

To give a bit of an explanation, when I attempted to start up the game now, the whole thing went black - The screen went dark, and I can’t even test the battle screens.

I don’t know what’s going on!

UPDATE
So, when I hit F5 accidentally, the game came back when I was testing, but I don’t know what’s going on. I looked around, and saw that it was plugins… But I didn’t add or mess with any plugins that I had before. What is going on?

No red.

Can anyone help me out with that?

can you post the console?

I’m doing this on PC, you’ll have to forgive me if that’s not what you’re referring to.

Honestly, when I run tests, sometimes it does it, other times it doesn’t.

I wonder if it’s the program doing it.

I want to see whats in this console when the error happens.

Sorry I can’t give you instructions on how to get it beyond this picture (from your screenshot if it helps).
I’m not the most familiar with rpgmaker myself.

Ah, I get ya.

I don’t even know about that neon black thing…

So I looked at the pixi refrence library for WebGLExtract. according to the documentation it’s deprecated (they replaced it in a newer version of pixi).

So updating pixi might help.:man_shrugging:

It looks like the problem is somewhere in the scene transition from the title screen to the next one.

If you have made any changes to your transitions recently I would undo the change.
If you don’t use the pixi plugin anywhere else you could disable it. But that may break your code some where else.

I think some one else with more experience with rpgmaker will have to jump on to give you better advice.
Sorry I can’t give you a definite answer.

Hey, I appreciate it either way. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll definitely try that.

Oh man, this looks awesome!
Best of luck on the development!

Managed to get past that little hurdle, hopefully that won’t happen again…

But as for updates:

Meet Sake, probably the last character I’m designing for this game’s first chapter.Chub Dragon Sake
