For the next update cycle, I want to try to do the new weight levels alongside the class poll stuff. So the Ranger will have new levels soon after the BGM gets added

Class poll so soon? Worrying, have one last Raider and Erill’s planning on a Psychic for March.

As it stands, what future class looks like it’s going to replace Ranger in the poll?

I haven’t done an exact count yet but it will probably be the Dancer or the Psychic

I’m aiming for next week to be the BGM update so Legendary tier patrons will be able to submit their March designs before the next class polls reach their conclusion

What’s all this about being able to clear golem army in 5 secs? I reset something like a million weight worth of metabolism points off my illusionist to try it and it just didn’t work. I could see how if you had a gorillion points on the character but honestly anything is possible at that point.

Also, I noticed that if I ended a match before one of my characters were done digesting a meal, they’d start the next match still working on that meal. How would you be able to grind that level if that kept happening?

Set your characters up with the illusionist in the top left. She requires 2500 capacity and at least 45 power. Speed and metabolism are irrelevant. On her right, the Warrior. Below the Illusionist, in the bottom left, is the Glutton Knight. The strategy is simple: Once the Illusionist hits her weight ā€œcap,ā€ she will deal 90 damage, enough to obliterate rooms. Then, the Knight resets the Illusionist’s cooldown (the Knight will need power equivalent to the Illusionist’s cooldown in seconds) and due to the way the Knight’s area of effect works she will also reset the Warrior, who in turn will reset the Knight. Nuke room, use Knight to reset Illusionist, use Warrior to reset Knight, repeat. Fourth character is largely irrelevant but I like to use a high power Steampunker for when I miscalculate a room or misclick. Bard is also fine. The Knight will need decent capacity (800-1000~) and power in order to stay available. Speed for the Knight is irrelevant as her cooldown is extremely quick even in the millions, easily refreshed by minimal point investment into Warrior’s power.

If you are quick enough you can clear it in 5 seconds.
This same strategy with much higher capacity can be used to clear the Blue Cheese Cyclops in under 6 seconds also. You will need at least 207 power (for 414 when capped, enough to one shot the cyclops.) and about 4500-5000 capacity on the Illusionist.

I got my Illusionist to around 10 million weight in about two hours with that strategy. It’s very satisfying to blitz through those stages.

As for grinding the level, all weight waiting to be digested is instantly compounded into weight upon level completion. This is why the last room of Golem Army would normally KO the illusionist, but since the level is completed, it does not matter.

Are you sure about those numbers? Every time I try it I just end up with a KO’d knight.

The Knight wants to have just enough Power to offset the Illusionist’s cooldown at her max weight and no more. This will prevent her from reaching her capacity too quickly. You may not even need more than 800 capacity on the Knight. There’s a few extraneous factors, but generally speaking capacity is king. You don’t need metabolism if you finish the level before it even factors in. You don’t need speed if everyone resets each other.

I just can’t get it to work reliably. I’ve gotten it to work a few times but as soon as their weights start changing it throws off the balance and ruins the whole combo; someone ends up getting KO’d or a cooldown isn’t reset, etc. Even when I get it to work, it’s when my knight goes into the orange and is lucky enough not to get KO’d.

How would one go about wiping a save if you wanted to start from a fresh slate? Is there a way to do that?

Clear your browser’s cookies. That’s what works for me.

What specific page(s) cookies? General cookies seemed to work, but I’d rather not have to wipe all my cookies every time I decide to restart.

If you go the developer tools you can set certain levels ā€œoffā€ (mainly by changing them from true to false), though could potentially make things tricky with the game (certain things may become glitched since you need to go through a level to get them, such as new adventurers or the added extractions).
A hard reset is more practical since it removes error on your side that could make the game annoying to play.

Specifically you can clear ā€œLocal Storageā€ for https://www.bewilderedgames.com

Is anyone else having problems with performance? It was fine at first, but after I beat the the game (minus one bonus level) it started to run very slow and choppy. I just wanna know if this is on my end or if anyone else is having this problem.

Edit: Its running at about a frame per second not just lag.

What device and browser are you using? Does this happen all the time or just in specific circumstances?

I’m going to need another week to finish the BGM update, but for every day leading up to it Patrons can vote on the game’s final music!
