I think the voters just want barmaid’s corset to explode. Plus, I think “slutty medieval waitress” is a pretty common fantasy to start with, and barmaid hits that.

So I know it’s likely a little late to be asking this, but what’s going on with the Trickster, the character that won the new character poll last december, but due to the health issues, has yet to be added? (As far as I’m aware). Are both Trickster and Babarian going to be added in the next update, or has Trickster effectively been scraped?

I’m trying to avoid looking at it. The Shark’s my creation, just like the White Rabbit was and having two characters be so thoroughly stomped in the final poll after winning the initial one is just a smidge fucking upsetting.

don’t worry, I bet the next class vote will be an animal for sure this time. I also know that there are 4 female class votes left so the next vote we need an animal.

Can’t say I’m not disappointed (especially since, like the White Rabbit (and Lady Alarune’s Starspawn) she won the initial poll, but the Barmaid honestly does look great.

Also, the remaining non-dragon girls with animal features are as follows;

Beastkin; Bunny.

Druid; Spider (Going to vote for Erill’s Dragon Tamer and Mini-Dragon (who I insist on calling Dimi) though.)

Raider; Lizard, Wolf, Faun. The Goblin here also has a boar mount, but that’s beside the point.

Alchemist; I honestly don’t know. That character with bird features is the one design I’ve never seen before and it drives me nuts not knowing. (Edit; Wait, that’s a lie. Haven’t seen the other Beastkin designs either.)

If it brings you any consolation, 2nd place means that a lot of people really did want the design. I think mass appeal just wins out in these votes because it’s safer, not because it’s better or more popular. I do wonder how the votes would turn out of people were allowed to pick their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice instead of just their favorite, and then the one with the most votes won? (Provided this isn’t how it works already.)
