Yeah, but Yakuza is just SO BORING and uninspired! She look’s like a generic background anime school delinquent who goes unnamed for the duration of the series!
Where’s the creativity?
Where’s the pizzazz?
Plus, we already have Hunter, inquisitor and Druid (Also Spellblade, but she’s just a weeb so she doesn’t really count) i think we’ve had enough Japanese culture-related units and maybe give some other culture a chance to shine, like India or Polynesia or something, just as long as it’s memorable and interesting!

I personally wouldn’t say the design is without charm, the idea of a more contemporary delinquient-style character in a fantasy world about sentient food seemed fun at the time!

Then again, as with all ETD characters, I feel more about them becomes clear after they get all their sprites/weight gain pattern with Bewildered’s art.

As for the feeling of having a preffered design miss out, that’s the nature of voting unfortunately, (e.g. this time around I was the only person on the Patreon who voted for my Lizard gal who I at least thought was pretty fun).

But I think going after culture/race is rather silly considering the wide selection of characters who are in ETD. I get preference being an issue, of course, but culture isn’t something to go after ETD designs for of all things.

My philosophy is that the design that wins will be good because I will put in the effort to make it good. Please be assured that I will endeavor to make the in-game art assets for whichever design is selected as appealing as possible.

I recognize that there are at least several people who have been displeased with how polls have performed, past and present. I am hesitant to change the procedure for voting this late in development as I’m not sure that would be fair to patron submitters and there will only be two character polls after this one anyway, each containing only three options.

If I were to make a second game when ETD is done (and that is a big “IF”, I haven’t decided if I want to or not) I would spend a lot of time thinking of a different character design submission/voting procedure that is more satisfactory.

Welcome to Weight Gaming @vuaira.

Try not running the game using a browser tab that is not incognito mode or InPrivate browsing. This will cause nothing to be saved and you will not have any save data to continue from.

The cause is instead from me resetting my pc once in a few months. Thank you for the information though. I could’ve played in those tabs if I didn’t know.
