yea, that’s what I was thinking.
I agree that armor and faith would be a very unattractive ability set given how niche armor is (the cool down and stomach emptying effects are more useful, and power upgrades in general make armor less useful via diminishing returns.)
You could make her weapon and faith, but it seems kinda of backwards for the Warrior to be a more support orientated and worse damage dealer than Knights which typically support damage dealers in games via tanking etc.
A while back there was talk of buffing the Warrior by giving her the ability to hit her target and the enemy behind said target. Given her massive size and weapon I still think this is a cool way to help her out against a theoretical 3 element knight. AOE is very powerful, no matter how small.
Considering the future barbarian class looks to have full front row aoe, I feel like pushing the Warrior towards a middle ground between the future barbarians full dps, and the knights support flexibility would be a cool way to balance the three in the future.
It goes without saying the knight should have slow base speed though.
AOE might be the way to go with the Warrior
I will probably change this at some point but I haven’t settled on a behavior yet. I know I definitely want to enable the scroll wheel for the level list now that its gotten kinda long.
I found that the final bonus, bonus level 3, goes to as low as a ‘c’ even though there is a ‘d’ score. Is this supposed to happen?
I might have gotten the math wrong when I was calculating the times for that bonus level.
Additionally I have some unfortunate news regarding the frequency of Eat the Dungeon updates. Due to changes in my life situation, I will have to return to a pre-700, non-guaranteed update schedule.

Life has a tendency to throw curveballs at you, so I hope everything works out for you with your current situation!
Well, that’s quite disappointing. I hope life doesn’t beat you down too much! I’d hate for this project to stall out, and die a slow death. That is something I have seen happen far too often…
If I ever have to stop ETD entirely, I will definitely make an announcement about it. I wouldn’t just ghost on ya’ll haha
At the very least please get all of the weight levels done at some point.
Here’s hoping it never comes to that, especially considering the future classes and possible characters for each.
If it does however, real life must always take priority.
Kinda a little out of date because I’ve not logged in in a hot minute, but I agree with this. Priestess and Warrior aren’t dedicated supports like Bard is, because at the end of the day, Bard deals one damage if she tries to attack, while the other two might plausibly do real meaningful damage.
Bard is the best support because she’s a dedicated support, and not a hybrid support like Priestess and Warrior. And that’s fine! The point where it becomes a balance issue is when somebody doesn’t have a meaningful use case… which in the current state of the game doesn’t seem to be too much of a problem.
AW SHIT! I forgot to check out the Bard’s new weight! That’s cute as FUCK!
Its been long delayed, but its here at last: Final weight levels for the Warrior!
Well… that’s a thing.
Yes…Just YEEESSSS. ( For some mysterious reason she reminds me of the Giga Mac in this position.)
Well, now we know who her father is…
Thanks for the update!
i now fully understand how cooldown increases, every +1 strength from weight at 0% speed upgrade would add +1 second to the cooldown, previously this used to be every 50 pounds but now it takes more weight to add to the cooldown
The next character could be a drunk who spits fire at enemies
