I answered this on stream, but for the benefit of anybody else who might be curious: due to Real Life Circumstancesā„¢ I am no longer able to make predictions about the development schedule beyond what I’m currently working on. The class poll will happen when I get to that point in the development roadmap.

I think this would be cool. I definitely want to add some branching areas

Hello! Progress on the UI update is proceeding as scheduled. I figured now is a good time to check in and share the current version of the world map. This covers the 30 levels that are currently in-game. I don’t anticipate this map changing much, I might add some more details later. I hope you all like it!

Nice. It’s a very clean design.

Slight idea that perhaps once it is implemented it doesn’t immediately show the entire map. That way it would almost seem like you are delving into a mysterious land, not knowing what may lie ahead as you travel.

Another reason is that it will leave more room for possible other levels and paths without having the entire map spoiling it, even allowing additional content in areas still marked off.

Honestly amazing, i love how this map came along, i side with Seeker9043’s idea of hiding the map, having a fog or something reveal the map when you unlock more levels.

For some reason, with this update, the leveling i did and adventure unlocks were reset (excluding the bard being unlocked), and the exit button didn’t work. Also, only the A rank was updated to the new appearance. Clearing cookies did fix all this.

Something odd in the ui, the Digestion Rate on the level up screen is showing the Cooldown timer instead of the actual digestion rate.

No, but i knew i was on the right one and don’t think that was the issue. the leveling i did on the adventurers was reset, but i still had every level unlocked and with the rank i had gotten on them. Also, the spellblade, knight, and illusionist weren’t unlocked for whatever reason but the bard was.

I believe I have corrected this issue, unfortunately, if your save file has been overwritten with the new stats, then it is unrecoverable. I am very sorry!

If you have lost your save file and want to try to recreate it, you might be interested in the results when you google ā€œedit local storageā€ + the name of your browser.

It’s understandable. these things happen, and I was expecting having to restart eventually, but at least it was cushioned a bit.

Ok, when did the bonus rounds become so difficult? I remember getting an S in every single one of them and now just from a mathematical perspective an S is probably impossible in some of them, at least until a new hero comes out that can do sword damage to more than one enemy at a time.

Now, as to the UI changes:

1: RESET IS TOO CLOSE TO EXTRACT!!! I have accidentally reset my characters 3 times now, and have started having to resort to save editing to get my points back so I can actually keep playing. Please put it somewhere else or put a confirmation on it or something.

2: Metabolism is showing the speed stat for some reason.

3: can we please have a means to zoom out the map, or at least make it to where the map doesn’t default to the farthest point unlocked every time? It’s proving to be very annoying to have to pan back over to the level that I’m grinding an S on (this was also a problem with the previous system, but it is even more noticeable now).

Overall, I think it looks great, but it reveals a few underlying flaws the previous one covered up and/or mitigated. That doesn’t mean the update is bad, just means that there’s more to fix.

one thing that bothers a little bit is the extracting system, and as you can only do it once per battle the extraction system becomes very boring when you are already at a certain point in the game

and the penalty for resetting is impossible in some places, I had to reset the whole group and now everyone is too weak for certain battles
I got stuck in a battle because the whole group got a K.O and because they are too weak for this part of the game, the cooldown basically stopped

I think that in general, the leveling up system needs an update because for me, while the game encourages you to constantly leveling up, punishes you at the same time for not doing it, or doing it wrong

but other than that I really like this game and it’s one of the few games that I play constantly

it could just be college wifi but it takes a long time to load everything in and you can start the game before stuff is loaded in im using Chrome and i haven’t tested other browsers
