Perhaps you could raise money to hire other programmers in the Weight Gaming community to help with your project or at least so they can teach you the ins and outs so you can do it yourself. Reach out to any that might get advice for free. Like Round creator of Roundbound.
Played for around 40 minutes, hereās my thoughts:

Thereās some kids in the starting town, that are part of the weight gain gimmick of the town (a chubby lil girl) and I donāt think thats allowed or really appropriate on WG

The first boss was an absolute pushover, but the Gnomes are Hell on Earth. So much HP, and Poison is brutal.

So. Much. Farting. Like, so so much. Iām not into farts. I wanted to try and tolerate it to see if the game got to the other parts soon enough but⦠the entire first arc is just farts. Constant loud shaky farts from the mayor, and the first boss only farted at me, that was his only attack. Not my thing, and unfortunately no way to avoid such a hit-or-miss concept that is plastered all over the gameās opening act. I canāt play more, its just killing my vibes.

Combat system is decent. My basic attack feels pretty weak at first, then crazy strong after like 2 levels, but it misses too much and has too wide a range for me personally. The Strong Attack and Fire are just, really good, but only Fire is balanced at all. Strong Attack lets you just, decimate opponents by existing for 1 turn.

I killed a treant but the catgirl wont change dialogue or reward me. Iāll admit, this had me tilted and was the second biggest reason I put the game down.
I had the same problem with the catgirl.
We damn well better get this catgirl to be a reoccurring shenanigan causer.
Because Cait Sithās Treant Hunt sidequest is a huge issue for a lot of players, Iām posting this behind-the scenes bit while I work on the Dryadās Forest.

I just thought of a way around that cat problem.
Have the treants drop an item, like some kinda apple, with a small health restore on it for use, and then just have the cat ask for that.

Judging by Muffintopmanor1ās comment here though, Iām going to assume no. If so, you really should at least mention it. There isnāt a single mention of farting on the itch.io page or even here (outside tags).
Yes there is a large amount of it. And no there is no toggle.
so thereās a coded door in the village and a locked door in the desertā¦is it wrong to assume they are connected somehow? have i missed a couple secrets that allow me to open them?

Theyāre talking about the door in the starting town. As far as I can tell all it does is turn off your ability to save.
