So, I’ve been playing some of these games on RPGMaker recently, and noticed something… THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. I mean no offense, but I feel like every other weight gain game made with this tool is some generic medieval RPG reusing RPGMaker assets or ripping them from a library. As a result, there’s NOTHING new between them.
The worst part is how LIGHTWEIGHT it all is. I want pure, unadulterated, near-body horror levels of weight gain in my games, so I took it upon myself to make my own RPGMaker game about transforming animals into gigantic blobs of fat to turn a profit for the ranch you run.
Fatty Farm Flipper is VERY early development, with this build basically just being an incredibly barebones demonstration of how the game will function at its core. Feel free to comment any critiques about bugs and stuff.
Rest assured, that all animal sprites in this game are beautiful, handcrafted works of art sure to arouse your interest and loins. So, if you’re interested in a developer that TRULY panders to this website’s audience and doesn’t respect nature’s boundaries, stay tuned.
Making your first post here be an open insult to every RPGMaker developer is certainly something. “I mean no offence” doesn’t detract from the huge middle finger you’ve barged in with.
Looks like it’s got potential. One thing I kinda hope for is for the livestock to become a little more… person-like. I’m fine with anthro stuff, and the sprites look good, but adding stuff like hair, clothes(Like overalls or the classic Daisy Duke knotted-closed checkered shirt and jean shorts, for the farmy aesthetic), and eyes that aren’t soulless black pits would probably increase the appeal for most people.
Also, the building interiors are a good size. Just felt like giving props for that because I’m really used to RPGMaker games having unnecessarily huge maps that take forever to traverse, even normal house interiors, that are either completely empty or cluttered with random collision objects.
im going to be honest im actually a little disappointed.
you open with a direct insult to most devs here, say that you want pure, unadulterated, near-body horror levels of weight gain in my games, say that you dont respect nature’s boundaries…
and then you cop out with anthros instead of proper farm animals.
if you’re going to talk like that, at least full send the idea.
