One thing that bugged me about that path is that your roommate (the other one) gained weight no matter what. There is an interaction with a fox showing you a sequence where she never gained any weight, but i wish you could have actually played through that route as well

That is true. I always found that one roommate (Chika I think?) the most underbaked part of the game, and honestly I sometimes wonder if the game wouldn’t have been better off without her (leaving just the main character, Eirika and eventually Nene). The fact the player has zero say in the way her story progresses and yet she’s in a massive percentage of scenes is a bit of a let down to say the least lol. Though I understand having to make variations for each variation of four different characters whenever Eirika, Nene, Akane and Chika share the same scene would be utterly insane.

I’m pretty sure the only justification for her being there is just to introduce Akane to the job to earn money. Maybe she is just there so 95% of interactions are just between erika and akane. Honestly, if i were to remake the game i personally would probably remove her, or add her later as some kind of option.

Rereading this i realize it might come off as mean - I actually think the existence of chika is fine, but she should have stayed skinny by default. It would be great if she was someone who is not in on it, judging akane not realizing its erikas fault or something like that. We really only have directly sexual humiliation, actual humiliation would have been great, one where chika would have not done it out of a secret desire to ruin akane but instead genuine disgust

Hey guys, i have been working reverse engineering bobos code, and trying out blender n’stuff. Don’t wanna give anyone false hope, since this is also a solo project, but i am planning to essentially remake the game, with new images and models (The blender files for the original scenes were not included in the fillmeup file). I’ve been working on it for a week, just learning blender and renpy. I wanna know if i would get into hot water if i would reuse the script and story - I would ask bobo but they completely disappeared. I’ll show some images i made in blender, and if i can cooble together a demo i would make it it’s own topic of course.

it is abandoned ware, as long as you make it your own I see no problem but I haven’t looked at the rules here recently so I don’t know if this is of any violation. I still say go for it as this was one of the better VN here. Just make sure to freshen it up into your own.
I certainly will plan to make some changes, but in some ways it will be similar. But i suppose for as long as i don’t release any of bobos paid content and don’t charge money for it it should be fine

Godspeed my friend, it will be nice to see this Project brought back to life.
I would rewrite the script with a similar plot. Besides that the original could use it in some places anyway (mostly stuff that was unfinished or half-baked), that would make it a guaranteed fan project rather than a straight copy.
