Gain Factory Reloaded, weight gain factory builder!

My fine fellow, have you given the girls the snacks they deserve? If you give them their favorite food, they go bananas. I got lucky with a girl that liked bean steaks, which has been probably the easiest dish for me to automate.

I see thanks ill try to find ingredients

I missed where it is but I agree with the sentiment of making this game more grid based on placement, but if we were to stick with free place, can some things (mines) snap into place and stop access to the ore when you place them? the hitbox for the mine is not able to wrap around the ore so you get stuck with one side being blocked at all times when trying to automate, plus it’s an inconvenience to randomly receive ore while trying to manually refuel a mine on scrap or scilica

I have a suggestion. If goddess is a final goal, maybe you can make sub-goals? For example, if you feed 1 cow-girl long enough at her max size, she grows taller… and maybe… some events happening? Or you can add some quests, like automate this, automate that. In progressive order.
Oh! Idea! Add a few characters, who gives you quests to automate thing, and after you complete them - they grow… somehow.
In my opinion, a game need a way to hold interest and motivation.

anyone can help its alweys fill up with fossil chocolate and cant others things go to oven

that’s a problem with the code, the game just places in inventory and the game then instantly uses fuel as fuel…

you’d have to create a logic circuit for it to count how many chocolates are added and to stop for as long as it takes for the item to process all the fuel

If the logic gate that stops the chocolate is hooked up to the monitor, then the setup should work. Maybe you can place it closer to the oven so that only one chocolate comes through every time, but it should still be fine. I can’t tell much from the picture what’s going on, but it looks like it shouldn’t fill with chocolate.
Also, it’s not a problem with the code.

I have had some weird issues with the logic gates in the past where sometimes, they don’t like to properly block the items on a belt, so you may need to shuffle it around a tad. Otherwise, the block for the monitor is fairly small, so it might be that the logic gate isn’t properly connected to it? I would imagine it is one of those two things that might be the hiccup. Going off what Manchura was saying even though it’s not the same topic, I do wish there was a way to differentiate whether choco and butter are wanting to be used as fuel or an ingredient tho, but it’s also not the end of the world.

This is the easy fix for filling up furnaces with too much fuel

Spoilers for anyone who wants to figure it out themselves

You can just run extra fuel to a trash can. Instead of pulling off the end of the conveyor, pull off the side and place a trashcan at the end.

Just make sure to have the logic gate for the fuel farther away from the furnace than gates for the ingredients. That way the ingredients will make it to the furnace first and the fuel will go to the trash if the furnace is backed up. Otherwise the furnace will fill with fuel and you will have to wait for it to burn off before it can start cooking again.

Hey, has anyone else had negative points?

I can’t progress the stages when they show up, and I’ve had several restarts hoping they don’t show up.

I think I heard from someone else about this issue, but I couldn’t figure out what did it. Do you know what led up to this happening?

You can fix the points by editing the savefile. Go to %localappdata%/gain_factory/game_data_.ini and find the savefile which you are playing on. Edit upgrade_points to be x, then edit upgrade_points_total to be x + the total amount of points you have invested, which for you is 4. (upgrade_points_total should always equal upgrade_points + the number of invested points, to avoid potential errors).

All I know is that I spam fed myself food, and then this happened. Also, thank you for the advice on how to recover the save.

No problem, I hope you’re able to recover it! Do you know what food you fed yourself?

It was Fossil Chocolate, but on other saves it would also go into the negatives if I spam fed myself pretty much anything.

i don’t think i saw anyone comment on this, but a Sprint/Run button would help a lot considering the size of the map and distance between points of interest.

That is weird, are you able to provide a screenshot? Is the goddess consuming the milk?

here it is, idk if its just slow or something but it says now 1% on the percentage of the save

Yeah it’s just slow. You can hook up a inspector panel to the goddess to see the progress. You’ll have to feed the goddess a lot. You can edit goddess_nutrition_goal in the savefile if you want a shorter playthrough, but I would recommend trying to beat the game with the default value.

I cant figure out how to craft items. The box on the bottom left doesn’t seem to do anything, and arranging the items in the inventory also doesn’t do anything
