Hello, I like tf in general and I plan to make games revolving around it in the future (including weight gain), but I am not sure how much the community accepts other forms of tf that are not weight gain. Which is why I am making this poll to get a better idea on gender-bender specifically.
I like gender bender and I would like to see more games with it
I don’t mind as long as is not the main focus
I don’t really care
I prefer games that only have weight gain or weight related tf
My recommendation if you plan that genre of game is to also drop it on F95 or TFgames.site since both have a decently active community for the GB side of things while also being open to WG to at least a degree.
I’m open to gender-bending as a narrative device but it’s not a particular turn-on or off fetishwise (unless done poorly tbqh).
It didn’t use to. There were at least two fairly prolific artists whose biggest focus was male inflation/weight gain, FoolishReplicka and gyptiantiger. After they left the internet, almost all their work went with them. I say almost because I made a post about The FoolishReplicka Arkhive, and there are at least a few pieces out there referencing gyptiantiger’s once vast gallery, I even managed to scrounge a few of the artist’s original work that I had saved onto a PowerPoint, which are more indicative of gyptiantiger’s original works.
Changing gender isn’t a dealbreaker for me on it’s own, but non-consentual body transformation of this nature frequently goes into themes that make me very uncomfortable.
For example, having a character being forced into a gender they’re not comfortable with either through a curse or magical accident, and then made to live with and eventually permanently accept their new identity skews way too close to saying “Conversion therapy works and is good actually” for me to find enjoyable, even if that’s not the author’s intention.
One kind of Gender change story I’d like to see more of is when a character actively tries to magically change their body because they specifically want to see what they would look like as a man or a woman.
