This is Version 0.1.1, already fixed some bugs.
Check out the Itchio page and give some feedback if you played the game.
Got a demo or something? Considering it’s the earliest version, I don’t wanna spend $5 and then realise it has 5 minutes of play time
Asking 5$ for a 0.1 of a game is certainly, a choice. A delusional choice but a choice.
The premise is nice, but again, you are asking for a Lot of faith in something that may well be abandoned shortly.
What I’m going to say is going to sound mean, but releasing a game for $5… and asking for feedback on a game that’s barely a 0.1.0, for 5 minutes of gameplay… I want to stay polite but it’s complicated, it doesn’t make me want to buy it, especially when I see the games already released
what am i buying exactly?
yeah look im going to be honest here.
- five dollars with no demo
- 0.1, probably has five minutes of gameplay. ten max.
- stock rpgmaker assets
- AI generated images
- you have other unfinished games.
oneTWO of which are also paid
i dont think many people would be willing to buy this.
AI and stock rpgmaker aside: not only are you asking people to pay for an unfinished game that might just be a 5 minute concept but asking them to pay for something that’ll probably be dropped in the future.
Speaking from the experience of making and getting paid to make a game, you only want to release a paid version once you have released and gotten feedback on a basic version of your game.
I’d also recommend against RPG maker at this point, people tend to prefer games made in Renpy and since this seems like a management sim anyways that’s likely the better tool to use for this game.
At this point with how strong AI is at coding there isn’t a huge excuse not to use Renpy.
you know what, thanks! thanks for showing me what NOT to do with the game im making, i wouldn’t have used ai anyways, but charging 5 whole dollars for only 5 minutes of gameplay? thats bullshit and you know it, i don’t care about being “civil” because you clearly need to hear this, but maybe try putting some fucking effort in next time.

Yeah… I. Think that seeing multiple games with paywalls that aren’t even finished is a bad idea, too. I’d highly suggest against it until you have a finished product - or at least close to half of one, not a .1 version. And it’s harder to say how I feel about this one being that there’s only a title screen and one map screen shown as images.
why would i spend 5 dollars on game when i dont even know if im going to like it or not, a least release a demo or a video showcasing your game, spending 5 dollars and going in blindly its not cool, thats just greed and taking advantage of people, if you dont want the heat maybe think next time before doing this
You just released this as a demo version and you’re charging $5 for it?
What about finishing Heavy Farm first that’s basically a Demo that you’re charging $7 for…
You’re giving us red flags mate…
Finally people are talking about this lol. It’s getting insane atp. How much money has been thrown at the Patreons of games that were never going to be finished? This site is just easy money for bad actors and it’s a shame the administration has never done anything about it
alright I’m sorry but on the itch.io page someone left this
Bug#1: the calories are not processed after you go the bed making it so you cannot gain any weight and can only lose weight I thought it was a calories issue but after trying to get as many as i could nothing changed.
seriously? fucking seriously. i really don’t want to sound rude but you’re asking five dollars for a product that DOESN’T EVEN DO WHAT IT’S ADVERTISED TO DO (being a weight gain game)
you couldn’t have bothered to test that before putting it out and asking money for it?
be fucking for real, dude.
edit: again, sorry, but holy shit. please playtest critical features next time you intend put something behind a premium
Hey man, as someone with some discretionary income who has helped fund a lot of WG games. I like the concept. But I think you would be better off to fill the game out little more (heh) before you charge money for it, and I feel a basic demo is basically required before I give any game concept any amount of money.
If you want to raise money to continue development I would recommend a rolling release model where a/the pervious version is available for free but the latest version requires a subscription. People want to see results in order to shell out their hard earned money.
That said, I hope this critique does not discourage you, the world needs more stuffing/WG games. I hope you continue development and hone your skills as a game developer, I am definitely excited to see more.
ummm… have to pay for something like that… i wonder if you have payed before for a demo
For anybody wondering, this guy is notorious for not completing his games, he’s never finished one (at least from what I can see on itch). The fact that he’s asking for money because he’s testing the water to see if he can make a quick buck and then run with the money.
the price is as bad as that one guy who was selling a weight gain walking simulator concept with no next to no gameplay for nearly 20 USD
I am still working on all of my projects, fixing the bugs in Heavy Goth GF next.
