How do I make a bodyslide preset to add and load on the male body morphs in the winter weight?
if possible can show screenshots?
To create male morphs, first you need a mod that actually provides slider values for male body morphs. The mod collection I user (devourment refactor) already provides everything for winterweight as well as morphs for both men and women, as well as some other additional mods for vore and retextures.
First you want to select the group you’ll be making the morphs/presets of
In this case, I will be making presets for the DV Himbo group
Then, you create both the low/high sliders as you want them. Make sure you are editing the body for that group by selecting an outfit
After that, make sure to Save As, name it whatever and apply it to the group you will be using for male bodies
Once everything is saved, just tick the “build morphs” box in the bottom left and batch build!
Sometimes it will ask if you want to overwrite another slider value because of conflicting files or something, I haven’t had it happen to me but I’d recommend choosing any that says Body, or SHOULD have more sliders (if that makes sense).
Best way to explain it is if either vanilla or cbbe sliders should be used, go with cbbe because that mod would have more values to make and match

Just wanted to chime in, I had Preset Reader Plugin work fine in my build. I had a save that stopped working around level 4, and I think I know some of the issues after looking at it with xEdit.
WinterWeight uses a “Story Manager Quest Mode” and Quest Events for updating player status. It only runs once. I’m guessing if you have it and it works, then later discover that it has stopped, the quest might have gotten unhooked somehow. With me, I was doing some save edits in Resaver.
Additionally it uses a very small 0.003 x food weight increment by default. I’ve also noticed that it’ll also sometimes just not update until I’ve reloaded an area (exiting/entering a door for example). When you’re testing, up the food weight multiplier and go through a door.
Protip: My go-to is “Corruption” set to feedee (can be found on loverslab), winterweight, and weightmorphs. Corruption I disable the transformation, and on weightmorphs I set the thresholds for lose and gain to the max multiplier. I then set the high modifiers to only affect the belly - giving a stuffed impression. So Corruption forces a binge, weightmorph for the stuffed gut, and Winterweight for the slower, gradual gain.
Currently rolling 54 mods on the latest SSE version.

i am deeply confused by this as all it seems to do is build a body instead of a min max weight that can be changed overtime?
By changing the sliders for Low/High, you are making the min/max weight that the game uses. If the character’s weight is low, then they will be skinny. If the character eats more, then they will increase their weight and get more fat.
You seem to really know what’s going on, so I’m wondering if you might be able to help with the problems I had with winter weight. I remember i got an additional bod slider preset that I built all the outfits for and everything (it works just fine with the in game weight slide) but winter weight just won’t recognize it for some reason, and promptly does not work
If you have any idea what to do let me know here
If you got an additional body slide preset, then it may not be compatible with Winter Weight. Maybe if you sent some screenshots of how everything looked, I could help

Also it’s been so long since I’ve booted it. I might’ve uninstalled? I just kinda gave up after it didn’t work for a while.
You could try installing the Devourment Refactor mod pack on Nexus, it had winter weight built into it and all the instructions you need to set it all up. Although it’s vore based, you can configure the settings in the in-game mod manager to turn off npc vore (the player still can, which is great for eating food or carrying items)
Can somebody help me with the mod, it works just fine, the body updates, but after like 5-7 seconds, the mod just stops updating weight and gets stuck at any number, it only works for a few second after updating any setting and then goes back to not working. Has anybody run into this, or do you have and idea how to fix it, i tried evetyhing and nothing works.
I’ve had something similar to this happen, where the state of the body gets stuck, and I think it has something to do with how time works in Skyrim. I know quicksaving and opening menus or inventories right after consuming food items seems to reliably trigger this effect for me, so I’d recommend just continue playing the game normally or try skipping time. That’s the only way I’ve known to fix it, quite literally walking it off.
This slider works for me. I think I set it to 2.5 and then you have to reapply weight to see necessary changes. I set my max up to 20, I guess since the slider is so high it doesn’t wack out
Can someone help me, maybe provide a basic setup and load order for the mod? I am so lost and some instructions would probably help me a lot, because I had it running before but it broke after an update. Then I got it to kinda work but one main problem I had was that the belly didnt, or barely jiggled. Now I have winterweight working but the SSBBW3 slider isnt working meaning I dont have that unique shape to the body.

Ah yea it’s a bit of a pain because it’s not exactly built well and that’s by the author’s (Gaz) own admission. It still frequently breaks for me especially with the Devourment mod.
The first and most important thing to understand here is in order to use the fetish sliders you need to have the relevant body and outfit conversion files. If you don’t have these conversion files then you won’t see any of those sliders such as the SSBBW3 bodyetc…
This is why the Winter Weight mod is closely tied to the Devourment mod (which is a vore mod for the unititated). While Devourment is not required, you would still need the body and outfit conversions which have been created for it. The current best option are Trivu’s Conversions which you can grab here under Old files called “Trivu’s Vanilla Outfit Conversions (CBBE 3BA)”. It’s just over 1.4GB so it’ll take a while to download from Vortex.
Once you’ve got that you’ll need to manually import and install the file.
Trivu’s conversions cover every outfit in the base game only. It does not include any outfits from the Creation Club nor any dlc expansions such as Dragonborn or Dawnguard. I’ll come back to this as well as some other outfit conversions after we get the essentials done.

So the first thing you want to do is run FNIS ( Fores New Idles in Skyrim) and generate the skeleton updates. This may be necessary only for the Devourment side of things, but it won’t hurt to run it in our basic setup regardless.
Here’s where we can mess up, I’m assuming you want to use a custom body preset other than the base CBBE Chubby etc. In that case we want to build out the custom body and then save it. Now, since Winter Weight is a morphing mod that dynamically updates your character’s model, I would reccomend that for any custom bodies you start with the --Zeroed Sliders-- preset. You don’t have to, but I find it gives the best dynamic weight gain appearance.
So, run Body Slide and where it says “Filter groups…” you’ll need to click the magnifying glass and select “Choose Groups”. From that list you’ll see the availabe outfit and body groups you have installed. If you’ve installed Trivu’s morphs you’ll see an option called “DV CBBE - Female Vore Morphs (Trivu)”. Tick that box and select OK.
Once loaded click the drop down bar next the “Outfit/Body” text and you’ll see a list which will be all the base game’s outfits with “DV” in front of each name, such as “DV CBBE (Neck) Gold Sapphire”. These are just the outfit conversions and will overwrite the base game’s outfits so we can use the custom sliders.
Now let’s build out the custom body, you can either build it from a nude model or with one of the conversion outfits. Do note that when we get to certain absurd sizes the clothing texture files will break and begin to tear, especially around the ass.
To build your custom bodytype by referencing a nude body select DV CBBE! Body from the dropdown list and click preview. To build it from a clothed body select a desired (body) file from the dropdown list and click preview.
Remember that what you set as the low weight will be not only your character but every other character’s starting weight, so if you want every female npc to be sized up by default then you’ll want to set appropriate sliders for Low Weight.
Once you’ve build your desired body weights we will need to save the file. Now for some reason in my playthroughs, in which I am using many many more mods, Winter Weight seems to work better when its pulling morph data from the existing CBBE preset file. Hence what I do is save the custom body using “Save As…” and calling it placeholder.
Assuming you’re using Steam, your bodyslide presets will be saved in a file similar to mine below
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderPresets
Once you’re there you’ll see two files CBBE and your new custom preset which we’ve called placeholder. Open up your placeholder file with notepad, these are just XML files so there’s nothing too complex here. Each preset and its corresponding set is contained within a less than and greater than sign
We can transfer your custom body into this file by copying over the slider details. For example here is a preset placeholder for a SSBBW2 body that I made quick for reference:

Your preset will likely have other lines, just copy all of them in one go.
With that copied to your clipboard, open up the CBBE file using notepad and paste it at the bottom of the file. What is very important here is that you remember to manually change the “set” name to “CBBE Body” instead of “DV CBBE! Body” as well as adding in a Group Name of “CBBE” so we can maintain consistency.
So your CBBE file should look something like this below, I’m using some custom outfits so you won’t have all the same Group Names except “CBBE”:

With that out the way clear your groups filter option by clicking the small X in the searchbar and then click the magnifying glass again and select “Choose groups…”. This time select “CBBE Vanilla Outfits Physics” only and click ok. Since we’ve done the above manual configuration for our custom body, you’ll see your new preset appear in the dropdown menu next to “Preset”. Since the bodies we’re working with right now are not converted you won’t see any additional sliders, this step is just for any physics attached to any vanilla outfit. Select your desired preset from the dropdown.
Next, click “Batch Build…” in the bottom left corner of the window. A new window will open up with everything ticked. Click “Build” which should build around 422 outfits or so, maybe some less if you don’t have the dlc. Once this is done you’ll get a message that “All sets processed successfully”.
Next, go back up to the groups filter and click the small X in the searchbar and then click the magnifying glass again and select “Choose groups…”. This time select “DV CBBE - Female Vore Morphs (Trivu)” only and click ok.
Nothing will change immediately and you’ll need to refresh the bodyslide interface by select an Outfit/Body from the dropdown menu. Any option will be fine, but if you want have a preview reference select either a (body) file or the “DV CBBE! Body” file.
You’ll now notice that you have a number of additional sliders available.
Now, select your desired preset and click “Batch Build…”. As before, a new window will appear with everythign ticked/selected. Click “Build” which should process around 293 outfits. Once done you’ll get a message that All sets processed successfully.
And now the awkward part is all done. You can close out of Body Slide and open Skyrim using the Script Extender application.
As a side note I reccomend using the Alternate Start addon here for testing.
When you come to create your character in game, do not mess with any of the CBBE sliders.
Once you have your character wait a few seconds for MCM to register your custom menus. Hit escape, go to System and then Mod Configuration. You should see Winter Weight as an option, if not wait a few more seconds for everything to register correctly.
Before enabling the mod you want to click “Female Morphs”. It will have a default morph setup. Because we want out custom body to be the morph we want to load it here. Click “Load Bodyslide Preset” and select your desired preset.
Now we can go back up to General Settings and toggle “Mod Enabled”. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ALTER ANY OF THE NORMAL MAP SWAPS.
To test and make sure everythings working you can use the debug settings at the bottom of the General Settings set manually set and reset your weight. For a more drawn out experience I’d reccomend changing the maximum weight to around 10 or 12 instead of 2.
