Hungry Elves "Stuffed" - On hiatus until further notice

Though I would like to see how this new idea would pan out for your team, it’s still a pretty big shot in the dark to take. Comparing that to an existing game that I already know and love, and getting even more content for it just sounds like a much better thing at the moment. Which is why I voted for the expansion.

Furthermore, one could argue that the game was tehnically complete even before the English translation received an overhaul - as well as other minor changes on top of it - so there was no need to add something like that in the first place. And yet, small improvements like that made an already good game even better, in my opinion. So, if small improvements had such results, then I really have to wonder what would it be like if an expansion was introduced into the mix.

Anyhow, those are my two cents on the matter. Regardless of what option wins, I hope that you have fun making whatever you envisioned - either for this game or for a new project. And if the expansion does win… well, unless you don’t feel like it, there’s no reason to abandon your new idea completely. More content for this site is a definitely a good thing.

In any case, keep up the good work!

It is not so easy, I think that many of the bugs that have come out in the English version are partly due to adding more content, I think that simply the engine that is used by the VX ace is difficult to handle so many large files. the ideal would be to transfer everything to MV, but for this I think it is better that they make a new game. Also, I am aware that the original game has many things that can be improved, but using the card created in VX ace can generate additional multipel BUGs. Things like the car disappear, rare teleportations and the most inespoclable, ramdon regeneration to the protagonist are things that I do not know how they can arise. especially the last thing that is supposed to be just by position.

Well why not do the expansion improving parts that were sub par and giving the game one last loving polish and use that experience to make your own, all while doing things at your pace and adding your personal twist and decor to it allowing you to find your groups personal style
Or in other terms why only have one slice of cake when you can get as much as you like

How do I enter the Tower? The characters insist that the door is locked but that there is “some way in”.

I’ve gotten the Master Key from giving up the Big Worm but it seems to be related to something else that isn’t the Tower?

I have been crawling all over looking for how to get in and I just can’t figure it out.

Someone know where is the secret room ???

You get into the Tower by checking one of the rocks near the entrance. It has a hidden switch that opens it up. And basically, almost the entire Tower is a puzzle area, so you need to keep an eye out for hints as to what the solution to each floor is.

Anyone know how to get the roasted chicken for the blonde girl? I didn’t go to the jail scene I avoided it, can I still get it?

I’m in the mine and I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing. I pushed the cart with explosives down one of the holes and blew up some debris, now there’s no other cart and I’m just left walking around. What do I do?

In this new area of the mine, you are supposed to find moveable boulders that you need to fill the gaps in the pathway to continue even deeper into the mine. Of course, if I remember correctly, you’ll first need to check the gaps for the boulders to become moveable, and you’ll also need to check the boulders again after you move them into the right spots, so the characters in the game can fix them in place, so it’s safe to cross.

Okay thank you. On a side note, how do I get roasted chicken? I need it for the stuffing quest for the blonde girl?

I think you can buy it from one of the restaurants in town. You don’t necessarily need the recipe from the jail sidequest, but it is a missable thing if you haven’t done that route.

Yeah I’ve checked all the stores and found nothing. Does that still continue to progress without the roasted chicken or is that side quest just redundant now?

I can’t find the boulders, were these in the lower part after blowing up the debris or do they drop down from above?

Oh, wait. Forgot about something.

It’s not roasted chicken that you need, but rather, fried chicken. There isn’t even a “roasted chicken” item in the game. The sidequest just says the wrong thing. You can still progress just fine.

And yeah, the boulders are in the new area that you opened up with that mine cart bomb.

Thanks guess I just missed them or something, do they just look like regular rocks?

I mean, they look like round rocks. They should be different enough from any other static map assets.

If anyone can tell me which exact store sells the fried chicken I’d appreciate it. Swear I’ve checked every store in the game

Alright, so…

It’s sold in the city. When you see the three usual parking lots, it’s the bottom one. Among the restaurants in that part of the city is one specializing in roasted meat and such. They sell the fried chicken.

The results of the poll have shown that more people would prefer a new game made by our team, so we are currently putting the expansion on the back burner.
Now, this doesn’t mean that we’re abandoning it completely! Maybe we will get back to it later down the line, who knows?
We also wanted to thank all nearly 200 people who voted and helped us with our decision, you guys really rock!

It’s a bit sad that the expansion is now on hiatus, but still, someday it will see the light, It would be good if you can make an announcement about the new project so we can have something to be hyped, for sure it’s going to be a great project.
