Itch.io DELISTED ALL NSFW GAMES!

ALL NSFW GAMES are now gone from itch.io search listings! They are still accessible if you remember the link to the games (or maybe google search).

You need to download your favorite nsfw games NOW, before they are removed permanently from itch.

Oh no!!! I’m feeling glad now I made my own site in addition to hosting on Itch… Good warning (╹◡╹)

I’m confirming this… All my games appear de-listed. You can’t find Housewife Simulator or Dairy Tale from the itch search anymore. You can still access them via the direct links though.

It’s weird. I also haven’t sold a single game in two days on Itch - so this was likely done at about the same time as Steam’s nonsense.

This is so frustrating as a content creator. None of my games have rape, incest, or anything non-consentual. It’s all wholesome romance with big women or cowgirls.

 Glad this forum still exists to catalog these video games. Otherwise people would not longer be able to find them.

It looks like some of them can still be tracked from the search engine, it just takes more work.
But I’m still looking for ways to stop this. Someone has posted an update on this:

We definitely need to show more support for this:

It’s just weird though - you search by some of the tags I’ve selected and my games don’t show up because they’re adult. Edit: Also I should add, a lot of the games that do show up for belly expansion, breast expansion, etc are mistagged to not be adult when they are adult…

Long-term I can skirt around that and change to make my games not have anything adult… But that’s not the right answer either.

If you’re old enough to have a credit card, drink and smoke and fuck, you should be old enough to view characters doing the same. It’s moronic! Augh I need a drink.

this one might get somewhere more than a random change. org petition. I don’t know who Zero Ryoko is but the ACLU has some of the best lawyers on the planet.

I’ve seen that one and read the fine print, you’d notice that it is about more specifically sex workers - anything to do with digital entertainment (animations, drawings, 3D animations, writing, video-games) seems to be put there as an afterthought. If you think cautiously about that document, it does not look like this is about protecting artists, it just puts a reference there to sucker in strays. The higher emphasis on sex workers should tell you what its actual goal is.

If you watch the video I posted, as well as the petition, you’ll understand that the companies are not targeting live-action stuff. Not only have they left only-fans alone, the video shows a response the leader of Collective Shout made about “Cuties”. Spoiler alert: she don’t care. In fact, she even defended that film. A movie infamous for its depiction of actual children.

Extra - that video also brings up how its gotten attention of other individuals outside of our community. If I weigh the odds, I know who I want to throw my hat in with, and it’s not the one where - when you look at the fine print - is actually not going against them at all.

I can guarantee that if people sign that petition, it’ll only hand the victory over - the greater focus is on allowing sex workers, which companies have had no problems, so it is not actual a problem they’d have. It’s the biggest loophole in plain sight, it allows companies to haggle to “we’ll just leave the sex work alone, you simply can’t have fictional depictions of it.” Thus, they can make it seem like they’ve changed while actually doing nothing but continueing their goal.

I can read just fine and I trust that other people can read as well (and also tell from the title that your video is Alt-Right Pipeline propaganda. Really? Feminists are the problem? Sell me powered bull testicle for my low T next.).

Mastercard’s “strict and invasive requirements on adult content websites using Mastercard’s financial services” is the problem we’re trying to fix. Porn games are sex work so even if the ACLU’s petition is focused a little more on a side goal (of performers) the end result is the same for all of us.

But y’all do whatever you want. Sign both if you think it’ll help.

You do realize that Collective Shout calls themselves a feminist organization, right? This isn’t him tying it to politics, Herohei is literally calling them by their own self-proclaimed description. Collective Shout CLAIMS TO BE FOR PROTECTING WOMEN.

And that petition you’re rooting for is actually misleading, there have been cases of sexual abuse of minors on Only-Fans, and there have not been any consequences in regards to that on the site. And as I said, the leader of Collective Shout has proven to be a massive hypocrite, she defended a movie that is infamously shown questionable depictions of young girls.
Remember, they were able to pressure Steam to remove a bunch of games (and this very thread is presenting that they’ve done similar with Itch.io), but they couldn’t follow through on their threats with Only-Fans. That should tell you something.

Not sure why you’re hyphenating OnlyFans…

Anyway, the group claims to be feminists, but they’re radical feminists, or sometimes radfems for short, and the descriptor is very much a derogatory one. They’re also often trans-exclusionary, hence the term you may see around of TERF.

Not a big fan of OnlyFans, therefore I don’t see their name enough to remember how to spell it properly. I only hear it when I’m listening to news on it in the background.

Leaf, the owner of Itch, released a statement that it was entirely out of their hands or risk not existing at all, basically.

Personally, I think we need to incorporate a flash/game player onto this website

Sigh, And why is that? Someone tried to discredit a source by claiming unnecessary politics when that organization was stating those politics. Just because they’re conservative does not mean they cannot consider themselves feminist.

Damn, it’s honestly kind of sad that this is their only update to the website since 2019.

Still, considering that Itch and Steam are no longer safe places for members of this (or any) community, and that Patreon is almost certainly next, we do need to figure out where we as a community can migrate to considering the limitations of this site (I know there have been plans to turn this site into its own Itch equivalent since 2018 or so, but ideally we would have something to use as a stopgap for the next several years)
