Lysithea's Sweet Escapades Redux - A Weight Gain RPG based on Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Hey everyone, original developer Bernard Flowmax here. I’m sure a lot of people may have been wondering where I vanished to, but to make a long story straight, life happened! For anyone wondering, the past half month or so ago I returned to the life of the internet living, and played the previous public release of the game once I returned. I was absolutely blown away by the sheer ramp up in production quality I could’ve only ever imagined to create and I was touched by how close the current staff stuck to the ideas we shared before I disappeared. I don’t want to make any more of a scene than I already probably will with my reappearance so I’ll cut the explanation short and get down to business. The past week or so I’ve actively rejoined the project as a major bug tester, game qol consultant and will aid in the project’s story and ideas moving forward. Dawn or better known by his forum name @HerefortheGoodShit has done a fantastic job alongside the rest of the staff members and I’m thankful to contribute. I helped squash a ton of bugs with the above removed link the past few days so I feel I should share some good news. Look forward to tomorrow! Why tomorrow you may ask? Well to prove I’m not an impostor or some fool in disguise, bam! See you all tomorrow to a hopefully bug free release! Or I am a huge failure of a bug tester. lol

It’s finally, finally done.
The hotfix is here to fix nearly all the issues everyone has been encountering!
There are no more major progression bugs and, thanks to the testing of Flowmax, were were able to get all of the skills ready so far to properly work, meaning there will be no reason for us to go back and make any major system changes in the future!

We’ve also included a item in the new cave area that will instantly make all your characters fat! If you don’t want to be fat, you can sell it for a lot of money.

The Major Changes that I’m sure will benefit everyone, are:
Escape Rate has been set to 25% with a flat 5% on failed attempt, meaning it’s so much easier to escape.
A minimap has been added to the Dampened Depths that will display the locations of shortcuts and other large Points of Interest. I hope this will help everyone in the exploration of our massive labyrinth!
Thank you for your patience, support, and help finding bugs.

Please, for this update, make sure to leave positive comments and hopefully, no more bugs!
Really, your support and positive comments helps everyone immensely, so please leave praise and love in the game for us, and share it to more people!

Mediafire: Lysithea’s Sweet Escapades Redux - Marianne Update Definitive

What purpose does the stamina/running/lowerlefthandcornermeter serve? Other than to slow down gameplay?

Are there scenes in which you need to actually manage it carefully in some sort of chase scene? Or is it just a hinderance?

It definitely caught me off guard and took some getting used to for me as well. While it certainly can be annoying with regular movement, it adds a layer of immersion with the weight gain mechanic the game employs. Which’d be more on display for future updates but players will be able to better mess around with it during the mid to late game section of this update.

On the subject of the stamina meter itself, there’s a stealth section which encourages more precise movement so properly managing the stamina bar adds some challenge and even taking it slower there proved to be more successful for me playing than rushing it.

Again, I can totally imagine it being a bit of a buzzkill when you’re eager to get somewhere but try to bare with it, it’s not so bad once you get used to it.

There are chases where you will have to manage it carefully, yes.
It is also there to help make the characters feel heavier once you gain the ability to fatten them up.

Yeah, I mean if it actually is interesting, I can get behind it, and I guess it’s too core a feature to simply rip it out of chapter1 (before weight gain or stealth exist).

At the start though it’s uninteresting because it’s got no impact.

Hi once again! Unfortunately, I’m still having issues with a few things:
-The Dampened Depths still has that spot that softlocks me if I go close to it (an exclamation point appears above the lead character’s head, but freezes me in place indefinitely)
-Trying to leave Erith with multiple party members fat still gets you stuck
-Weight overflow? Hilda reached a point where she stopped gaining weight even at average

Otherwise everything has been fine and dandy! Hope this helps!

Hi, I’m just wondering if I hit a bug or not, but Marianne is unfortunately the most useless party member in the Slime Dungeon. She does almost no damage with her swords and actually does 0 damage with her magic.

Also do you not make like any money in the dungeon? Due to a bug, you cant leave the port town with a Fat party member or it soft locks you. So I have to spend money to reduce their weight, but I don’t really make any fighting slimes, even if I get a bullion from them because I can only sell items to the male innkeeper, as far as I’m aware.

However, the game has been fantastic with what I have enjoyed. The paralogue with Marianne was great, except the stealth segment got on my nerves a little. Keep up the great work. The facial sprites look amazing!

Fyi, the time bug is still there, but it is hard to trigger. I’m talking about the part where Anne says “Weren’t you going to talk to the witch?”.
I installed GitHub - emerladCoder/RPG-Maker-MV-Cheat-Menu-Plugin: RPG Maker MV Cheat Menu Plugin, to be able to watch the time variable (and decrement it if I wanted to. It starts incrementing when you leave inn or Blacksmith. It does not start incrementing when you leave any other building. About half of the buildings increase it by some amount (80?).
It started at zero for me, so even after exploring the whole town, I was somewhere about 600. So I just had to enter and exit the inn repeatedly, to intentionally trigger the bug.

EDIT: one scenario is possible though: player leaving the game running (as the mechanic was not introduced yet), let’s say just after they went outside the inn, and then returning to the inn, to explore it (again).

Can you send me a screenshot of her stats?

Thank you for letting me know, I’ll address this further

I hope this fixes the Erith bug for you!
I’m please to hear you enjoy the game so much!

uh i have been walking around the caves for hours and couldnt find other pods to take down the walls in the lower caves. i still get soft-locked in that area in the lower caved by the book

is that the area when one of the party members fell from the bridge??

The chocolate book in the library mentions that these three legendary chocolates are from a famous weight gain story, what’s the story? and does it still exist on the internet? I feel like that’d be a fun read (since it helped inspire the plot of this game apparently?)

So how I do repair weapons once they break in battle? The blacksmith in town seems to refuse to do anything if I’ve got the “repair Blutgang” quest.

I would appreciate if you DM’ed me instead of spamming the thread.
This is a lot to take in and frankly, when it’s in a massive series of posts like this, it’s just a blur of words that make no sense to me. So please delete your posts and DM me instead.

Send me a screenshot.
In DMs, please.

Been enjoying the game so far, thought I’d chime in with a few bugs I’ve noticed.

Firstly, this fix doesn’t seem to have worked, still getting stuck when leaving Erith (Lysithea and Hilda fat, Marianne chubby)

Another one is there seems to be a discrepancy with the displayed weight and the actual weight. After the three characters hit max weight, I used Carol’s weight loss to get them all back down, using the “reduce weight by 3” option seems to visually size them down, but they’re still classed as “fat” by the game, they’re also unable to gain weight (entering the meal interaction shows them at the proper weight the game seems to believe them at). Reducing their weight by 1 each time however seems to workaround this problem and causes no issue (although in the meal cutscene they will all still appear as pudgy, not average, they’ll still gain and lose weight correctly however)

Lastly, I had this crash once whilst exploring the caves, it triggered after a purple slime used “slime ambush”, I believe it was supposed to trigger weight gain in Lysithea.
