Crap. That would have made it easier huh. Well nevermind that. Although I did not know just throwing it in twice would instantly make you learn its properties. Either I can’t read or the game doesn’t tell you about that detail.
I mean, you don’t instantly have them recorded in the ingredient book, but since the output is just the average of the two input ingredients plus the modifier you choose, putting two of the same thing in means it’s just that ingredient’s values and the modifier. There’s edge cases where you can be misled by that - if an ingredient has minimum potency/latency and you choose a modifier that would decrease it further, or increase potency/latency for an ingredient that has it maxed out already - but it’s a pretty good general indicator, anyways.
2 questions, does the fetishizer potion actually work? And can Maya actually gain weight? Or are both of those things not added cause of time constraints.
You need to use the fetishizer a few times for it to work. Also, Maya does gain weight, but this is only shown if she reached her final immobile stage.
To add to this, the reason fetishizer needs more than one dose to do anything is because every potion needs to be made to beat the game, I didn’t want it to be impossible to beat the game without the fetish dialogue, mostly for those that prefer her to dislike the weight gain. From there, I made it more of a spectrum for the dialogue (So, the more intense situations need higher doses for the fetish dialogue to kick in)
Imma let you finish, but this game should have won the game jam
Can i increase dmg of spells/basic attacks, besides buying new crane? I remember that i tried to play this game immediately after release and found it annoying that i can’t even oneshot monsters in forest, even though i bought best crane.
