In regards adding new foods, would it be possible to have compatibility with other food mods like Farmer’s Delight or Pam’s Harvestcraft? Both of these mods (and probably a few more) already add foods similar to what you mention that give high amounts of saturation.

if the weight gain is tied to saturation then all foods should work, and honey will be broken because you can eat honey when full, maxing saturation.

I do not have confirmation that this is how it will work, but taking the info that new foods will combine the saturation values, it is likely that Saturation is the focus

At some point after I release the first version of the mod, I want to add an option for a custom body type, it will split up all of the cubes and then you can adjust how much they inflate.

I don’t thinks thats entirely possible, maybe I’ll be able to put something together but if i do it would likely be very glitchy.

Fascinating mod concept, though I do have a couple questions:

  1. Will the animations of the player’s model change based on their weight? This is more of an aesthetic question than anything, though I do feel like it would help immerse the player in their… situation.
  2. Will the player’s weight stat affect any aspect of gameplay, in a minor or major way? This also ties into the first question, as I believe it only makes sense for such to happen should it, for example, decrease the player’s speed in increments for each “stage”.

I do plan on changing the player’s speed based on their weight value, but he animations will likely stay the same.

I know it certainly won’t be added, mostly because it might make the game completely unplayable from that point, but will there be even larger sizes, if not blob sizes in the foreseeable future?

I was actually planning to make that at some point, I dont know if I’m just going to increase the weight limit or make it so you need a certain food or potion, but I will include it at some point

If I can throw my hat in the ring for the future, maybe make it a food item to “level up” to that stage of weight? Like in Tribal Hunter kinda. You get a big meal that allows you to increase your weight further.
