Right now I’m trying to get the custom model to properly render within the mod, but after that, creating and storing the weight value + progressing through the weight gain based on the value should be pretty easy, I shall hopefully have a working version either this month or early January

since inflation methods are planned to be added, when the player inflates with air or helium, will you make it so the player becomes lighter (air), or even begins to float or fly (helium)?
on another note, how customisable are you planning to make the mod in terms of player appearance?

The player will become lighter and even float when inflated, and for the customisation the player can choose between different models (see the renders above) and hopefully a model where they can set the size changes manually (make certain body parts more or less affected by weight changes).

I hope this has some compatibility with mods that add oxygen and helium like Create: Northstar
And a mod that does something similar to this but with the chest exclusively, Create: Estrogen

I have a feeling that this won’t be added into this mod but what if there was a bursting feature to prevent people to just eating to quickly speed run through the weight stages. So how it would work there would be like a stomach thing next to the hunger bar and as you eat more when the hunger bar is at max the stomach thing would appear more and more strained it looks until you just explode like a creeper
Also, an extra thing could you add a model for being full?

There will be a bursting feature and it will be toggleable, not entirely sure that I’m going to do a stomach for the UI tho. And I’m probably not going to have a model for being full, but I might make the player’s belly slightly larger based on how full their hunger is.

would the weight gain have any effects, like lowered movement speed, worse jumps? or at least have 'em as an option :3c

There will be lowered movement speed, but I’m not sure about jump height because if it’s a little bit lower than normal you wouldn’t be able to jump 1 block high so you’ll have to place slabs or stair to walk anywhere.

Throwing my opinion into the ring: You could limit a jump height penalty to higher stages, and if a player reaches those higher weight stages, they should have the resources to handle a jump height penalty since I’ll assume it would take a bit of time to build up to that level of fat. Plus, you could add an option to turn it off (or on if not default) for those who find it too intrusive to gameplay.

Probably not. I have no idea how that mod works and my mod has different different models (default and slim armed) for male/female so it would be easier to just create my own gender mod built into this one.
