Moo-Moo Manor - A Cow Caretaking Simulator

All that happens for me is Abigale greets me, her fullness runs out, and there isn’t anything I can do about it. I slam on the the pump button, but she does nothing other than run empty. What am I doing wrong?

Hold the “pump” button down when clicking on it. And try to not max out the fullness gauge you get three “turns” or chances to get it however full you want.

Thank you. Don’t know why it never occurred to me to try that.

Is anyone else having problems with the character models constantly glitching out?

She exploded D: does restarting the game fix this?

Reading on the itch page, 2 people fixed this by increasing their resolution or switching to full screen mode.

Cozy also mentioned in one reply (just in case!):
it seems to be an issue related to certain GPUs, the most common being intel integrated GPUs. my only suggestion is to try updating your drivers, or checking if your computer is in power saving mode/using its integrated GPU instead of its dedicated one, if it has one

This is one of the most well-made projects I’ve ever seen off this site. You have my full support and I cannot wait to see how it develops!

For me I had to set my power settings to max performance and it fixed it after a minute

there’s a whole lot of issues with how the game interacts with certain types of GPUs, most notably, integrated intel GPUs

currently, i’m in the process of porting the game from Godot 3.x to Godot 4.x, which has an entirely new renderer, the vulkan renderer. this should result in better looking visuals, in addition to hopefully alleviating some of the weird rendering bugs that have shown up on certain systems

By all that is holy this game is godlike. I am in desperate need of more, more I say!

And for some reason my post ended up as a reply to a random person. How curious.

If there’s one thing that I think could use some immediate improvement, it’s that the interaction costs are too high. If I want to change rooms, I have to click the Rooms button, click the room I want to move to, then click a confirmation box to go. Three clicks seems like too many for something that the player needs to do constantly while looking after multiple cows, especially when they’re looking through multiple rooms just to find out where that cows are.

i agree. the go button will be removed by the next patch.

Fun game, can’t wait when more content comes out.

Edit: Also would the weight system be more accurate to how much they look?

It’s pretty good and works well on my laptop, I’m having a problem where the body contorts as it is inverted and untextured, I don’t know if it’s because it’s the windows version, but I don’t know how else to fix it.

posted a small announcement about the current development progress of the game on patreon, showing off some of the minor graphical improvements that will be coming with the 4.x port of the game. here’s the before and after:
