some characters need other party members to be max lvl before seeing their weight events. as for the repeating barbarian shaman event, thanks for the report, will check this out!

How do I know if I have the good or bad ending?
Let me know if this is what youāre looking for! Iāll just add that having rare encounter NPCs at their last weight stage now adds 99 lvls each.
I did read that post before, however as I have finished the game once now I dont know whether or not that was the good or bad ending, maybe you can describe what happens in the bad ending so I know which one I got. I did have the original 8 party members at lvl99 and some rare encounter NPCs, but I dont think I had them at max
The bad ending features scrolling text with rain fx. It is currently a bit difficult to get the good ending on the 1st playthrough! Repeat playthroughs after any ending reward you with 2 more characters that will make obtaining the good ending much easier
Ok I thinks I got the good ending because I didnt hear rain fx, does a new female character that says something about a master and tome appear in the bad one or only the good one? Because if she only appears in the good one then i got that
Yup thats the good ending! The bad ending also forces a gameover, while the good end lets you keep playing even after the current story ends.
I found out a new thing and came across some interesting data in my latest playthrough so I am gonna share that.
New thing will be spoiled but I will give a hint that it has to do with the abducted event. So I got really far ahead of the curve in my last playthrough and stopped letting myself be abducted cause I was mostly just killing time till the end game, turns out you get a different item added to your inventory if Val gets taken instead (Happens when you select no when prompted). I still recommend letting the abduction happen 5ish times cause the X-ray googles are more useful for farming gems but the other item is an interesting option.
On to new data 1: If you get lucky early on and put yourself ahead of the curve (example getting plat veins or some mimics) then the game can be crushed a bit, but I didnāt have all the events play till around day 36.
2: Game still crashes on occasion but much less frequent now. I think I only crashed 3 times during a particularly long play session, annoying sure but much better than how it use to be.
3: Mimic rooms can be chained infinitely if you get very lucky, I think the longest chain I had was five after I had visited all the zones for the day. Just to be clear, yes, if you find a mimic room after you have run out of zones for that day then you can still go to the mimic room and chain them.
4: Didnāt run into the THEM boss fight once, donāt know if it was removed.
5: The pacing and writing has improved as the characters have gotten more fleshed out. (Pun mildly intended.) That said you can get into a loop right now where because you can get lucky with a mimic room you end up with all the non-playable special character scenes happening at once. Not the worse thing, and I struggle to think of a way around it that doesnāt potentially make the games time limit much more strained. Just pointing it out cause I got 3 of the events in a day and then I got no events the next.
I really like the game and this was my first full playthrough after the endings were added, canāt wait for the rest of the content.
THEM is a rare boss encounter, its still in the game
THEM encounter can only be found in Hard Mode! You need to have a lot of apples to proc the encounter! Still need to do more testing as to what causes the crashes, but thanks for the report!
I was in hard but I also didnāt have a lot of apples to spare after maxing everyone, didnāt help that I kept hitting mimic world and selling my surplus or trying to get max amount of guns just for the sake of it.
i feel that, the mimic stuff is annoying to get lategame, sometimes you just want apples, and golds useless
A temporary solution to having too many rare events (like mimic events) spawn is to sell the items that increase rare card chance! You can create them again later through rituals if you want to boost your odds for them again.
I spent about 5 hours doing a playthrough of the latest update. I played on hard mode and got the good ending. I had āfinishedā the game once before when the ending update was made and also did a playthrough of the initial release so this is my third actual playthrough now.
I think Milit and Valentine are my favorite characters in this so I was looking forward to the WG events, which I enjoyed a lot. Most of the WG events were not in the game when I played last time so there was enough new content to be engaged. I also noticed a few new scenes were added to the main story which was cool.
I ended up getting the final WG event for Valentine right before the final day so the timing worked out perfectly. I didnāt max out every rare card character, but I did most of them. The RNG was pretty funky, for example I would get the All Your Bases Are Belong To Us boss almost every day which was thankfully optional. As far as Iām aware the only things Iām missing are a few remaining rare card characters, the bad ending, and the NG+ character scenes if those exist because Iāve havenāt done a NG+ run.
Two points of criticism:
- During a battle a characterās weight level will directly reflect their level even if they havenāt had their WG events yet. This reveals future art that the player shouldnāt see yet.
- I think the game crashed about three times for me still. It wasnāt too often, and most of the time the music would stop playing before the crash so I would know to save ahead of time. I donāt know how youād fix this.
Other than that I enjoyed the new content and look forward to the crazy expansions Iāve seen teased.

THEM fight will continuously appear if you have too many apples, this will should be less of a problem in the expansion!
I was conflicted on how to do the battle portraits, and decided to make them just show their wg appearance based on lvl. Didnāt want to punish players who didnāt manage their days, but perhaps itās too jarring haha

Currently, the expansion will feature 6 new party members, 5 with wg events! There will also be a lot of new NPC characters, but I am uncertain if I will have time to give them all wg events, or even new wg events for the base game party members. To gauge interest, I will be posting portrait artwork of the NPCs and even some base game party members on my twitter throughout the next 2 weeks. Leave a like on your favorites!

Nice update, I really liked the weight gain for Valentine and Milit. Speaking of Weight Gain, is it possible that maybe in the expansion to My Dear Fallen Angel II you can give all the base game characters another stage? Or maybe in the future for your other games, can you give the characters more stages in general? I like how big they get in this game, however I would like them to be even bigger
for my upcoming short story games, there will be a smaller cast of characters, so itāll be easier for me to feature bigger sizes!
for this game in particular, so far, only Valentine is planned to have more than 5 wg stages at the moment! based on the performance of the twitter/patreon like campaign, more characters may have more than 5 stages as well, stay tuned!
