We’re switching over to Unity. GM2 wasn’t really what we looked for.

Although with now slighter delay, more Okui content will come soon, for sure

This game has been in development for a pretty long time! Is it going to end up being a several-hours-of-gameplay game with characters we’ll get emotionally attached to? It sure feels like it.

It will be fun to play, that can be assured, there has been some dev hell and some chaos, just curb your expectations and know that I am working to make the gameplay as fun as possible.

We are not a triple A studio and we are not being paid to do this, some are more invested then others and as I coder I can only promise fun gameplay.

This isn’t to say it wont have hours of gameplay with good characters, but I am saying that over hype kills the game.

If it’s fun and if you’re satisfied with your work when it comes out, that’s all anyone can ask for. Waiting is excruciating, but I know that you’re all working as hard as you healthily can. Tribal Hunter, a game I think is similar to this one, took a long time to release even with funding, and it’s still not quite complete yet, so I’m glad you’re still at it with Okui despite the lack of funding.

I love what I’ve seen with the demos and those couple updates in the comments. Just, fair warning, if you quit before finishing Okui…
I will be very sad.

We’re not expecting Metroid, don’t worry. And we can only really go off what you show us, but that still looks quite promising.
