Very good and fun mod, only thing is that I don’t like the nudity personally. But to combat that I’ve just went in a edited everything which somehow worked, only downside is that I know what is gonna happen to some characters.

Love this game; I think I reached the end of the game (0.8.2); however, I think I encountered a bug. I think I viewed the spider bad ending at the bathhouse, and by the end of it, olive is stuck doing her walking animation; this pretty much reduce my movement speed to a crawl. Now my running speed is walking speed and my walking speed is reduced to a crawl. I even tried turning off the “always running” (or was it dashing? idk…) and it still is the same. The other endings are janked up as well, with olive’s sprite flashing in and out of existance each one; Lance’s bad ending is him walking in place but no flashing in&out. I tried redownloading the current version of the game, but it still is occuring; I think the save file itself is messed up. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.
P.S (I think this bug occurred because I was moving the cutscene too fast i.e holding spacebar; not sure though)

Update: Managed to make the Bug go away, by walking to the through the grotto near the start of the game and getting Olive stuck. This made her animation play of her getting herself unstuck and my movement speed back to normal. Weird. Still would advise to look into this interaction with the bathhouse.

Can anyone give me advice on how to win the Boss fight using Lance? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, and I can’t seem to win no matter my tactics.

What I did was just try to spam Radiant Beam as much as I could; it’s the highest damaging move he’s got AND can inflict Blind which can be a life-saver, while also using Adrenaline every couple of turns for healing. Also keep in mind that his mana WILL passively recharge, so there’s nothing wrong either using his normal attack, Adrenaline, or guarding while your get your MP back.
I’d also make sure that A: he has full HP and MP before going into the fight, and B: make sure you buy of couple of Better Potions and Arcane Rejuvenators from the Potion Seller if you’re able to so you can have a way to quickly and fully restore your HP or your MP on the spot in case of an emergency.

Thanks for the answer. I tried all those tactics except guarding while waiting for my MP to recover, so I’ll try that. I’d normal attack, but the boss does about 100 points of damage, and that’s only if she decides to attack once. If that doesn’t work, I guess I’ll leave the teleportation area and go out and buy some potions.

Alright, just got to the end of the current update! A lot of fun stuff so far! The characters are treat and there’s a lot of nice side-stuff to keep you busy!
In terms of critiques, only two come to mind. A: The bug that AnxietyBot mentioned where your movement becomes molasses after viewing the bad end with the pirates. and B: Probably just a personal nitpick (and may or may not be related to wanting to buy stuff at Brewhucks) but I feel like money is a bit sparser than I’d like (aside from the spoils from boss-killing). Would be nice if there was a special event or something where you could make money without having to grind random counters. (Like, maybe Lance could offer Olive a chance to work at the inn in Dalrhythe as an example)
But yeah, very solid so far! Can’t wait for future updates!

Played around and found out about something worth posting. If anyone else is having trouble doing the quest while playing as Lance like I am, go back to the beginning area (where Olive’s tent and Lance’s shack is) and farm up levels/money by fighting bats and plants. The plants do negligible damage as far as I can tell, and the bats die in one hit and can’t actually hit you.

More than likely caused by the fact that the cutscenes affect your movement/sprite animations and are unchecked by the end of it. I’ll look into it, I’m sorry this has been unchecked for so long hehe
in other news has anyone gotten the goblins to take a vacation yet or did I forget to add that part
edit: i love how that when i update the download link, the downloads are all gone so i lose all medals i got for that link thats pretty awesome (it makes sense im not complaining its just an observation) but, 0.8.3, i hopefully fixed the spa stuff and i hopefully fixed the second platinum
