As you know, I’m currently working on my own RPG maker project, with more or less success. I’m currently playing around with the extended generator a lot to find out how I can improve and speed up character creation. In particular, large blob sprites are a bit tiring because I had to cut everything over manually so far. my little experience with gimp and my low tolerance for frustration didn’t make it easy. lately i have made significant progress, i learned how to create mask files and was able to successfully transfer one of the sprites to the extended generator with little effort. but now i don’t know how best to transfer the face, because you actually have to transfer the hair, hat, accessories, etc etc. manually because of the size of the other blob sprites. So I wanted to ask how you solved this problem.
Is it really only manual or is there a trick?

I would like a ton of info on RPG Maker spriting as well, at least until I can get my hands on a Windows drawing tablet or something.
