What generator is this?.. Asking for a friend…
RPG Maker MV.
It probably could work with VX Ace as well, but you’d have to make edits to resize it since VX Ace
uses a different size for spritesheets.
Can you upload that face for me? I can’t find these anywhere else.
I put this in the StyleGan thread, but I figured I’d also add it here because I got the original base that all these sprites descended from from this thread.Vitality Spritepack.zip (2.6 MB)
Feel free to edit them as you want and use the bases to build your own, but I’d appreciate if people didn’t put them into their own games unchanged since I do intend to make a game at some point with them as important characters.
Hey guys!
How do I make custom fatter faces for rpg make mv?
Thanks!
I know its been a hot minute since this but does anyone have ang good resources for 1 block tall characters instead of 2? I’m making my first game on VX Ace and I don’t know how to do two block characters
I don’t know much about VX Ace but I think you just need to make the sprite sheet twice as tall and RPG will divide the sprites accordingly.
The one block tall sprites are much more like Chibis, with big heads and stuff
Here’s a collection complied by @Grimimic and friends over at the bugtesting discord channel. the folders are named by artist, be sure and give them credit!
rpgmaker expansion templates.zip (1.4 MB)
This is just me compiling almost all of the sprites in this resource thread, everything inside here are not mine of course and credit to the respective owners.
Hello, I found these sprites on the internet, are they free to use? If so, who is the creator to credit?
Here’s someone who incidentally made some heavyset people in one of his posts.
Don’t know if they’ll be happy knowing the sprite is used for a fetish game.
Edit: Update on those sprites, I am in the middle of trying to convert some clothing from RPG Maker MV into clothing fit for these sprites.
Does anyone know where the hell the half-kaizer sprite sheet even came from? I found this huge collection of sprites in that style over on Reddit but I can’t for the life of me figure out if they’re actually free to use or who to even credit.
I absolutely love the way they look, and there’s such a good variety of both body shapes and genders which is super useful, and I really want to use them in my game, but I don’t wanna unknowingly steal them either if the creator wouldn’t be okay with it.
Would greatly appreciate any info you guys have about it!
It looks like the name might be “Venetia”:

Open replies and there’s some info. It looks like you may have a ghost-creator on your hands - aka, someone who’s left the internet and scrubbed their presence. No signs of a license, and they’d last heard of that creator 2 years before the time of their post. And the post is logged at 7 years ago.
Thanks for the prompt reply!
I also found this after making the post, which does include attributions for at least the base models, and also a download for a bunch of accessories and complimentary sprites: https://rockwell-studios.com/sprite-share/
Seems to me these are essentially freeware at this point, and honestly this is such a goldmine of good stuff that I can’t resist.
If anyone wants to use these, here’s a quick list of people to credit:
-
Half-Kaizer sprite template created by Showkaizer. (And maybe Venetia?)
-
Additional Half-Kaizer poses by Aleesa Tana.
-
Armor, weapon, shield, helmet, hair, skeleton, zombie, demon, fairy, mecha, wolf, boar, pumpkin, turkey, slime, skullbird, dragon, cactus, and other sprites are from Himeko Sutori and Septaroad Voyager by Rockwell Studios, LLC.
HOLY MACKEREL, THAT’S A LOT OF SPRITES!
But otherwise, it looks like that creator might not be as much of a ghost as I thought. I’ve seen a previous artist do similar, where they change their pen name for whatever reason, it looks like this one might’ve done so in this case for promotional purposes, since it’s more indicative of what project they’re part of.
Either that, or responsibility for the sprites was given to someone else.
Edit: it looks like those sprites you first posted are no longer part of this pack. It could be that those were simply the base, as the monsters in the “Large Humanoid” folder appear to be similar to some of the sprites.
can you explain how you would import say the walking sprites into the generator? I have no idea how to do things when it comes to the computer
