Some Bullshit - Stuffing Focused RPG Maker Game

i’d heal up beforehand but, uh, i don’t know how to, and i don’t have sugar rush. guard doesn’t help either since she has around 130 hp and the snakes do around half that i think

Have Emmie eat some food, digest in the menu and use the tp in the menu to heal up. All of that can be done outside of battle, but the TP does not stay when you actually get into the fight. Guard does help quite a bit, reducing damage a ton.

Sugar rush is a very good move! Soon you will be able to unlock it as you missed it in the second town. But you need to get through this section first. Also, I would keep trying the puzzle that the three snakes are guarding. May take a couple of tries.

alright, thanks. i’ll try it out

Conversely, I do appreciate how when you strip out all the kink trappings there’s actually a decent JRPG underneath with engaging and considered combat encounters. For me it hits the sweet spot of providing varied combat options without overwhelming the player by keeping the fighting mainly down to the main cast of three. It also hits the difficulty factor just right for me. Challenging to where one should engage with the mechanics as presented without mindlessly mashing attack, but without feeling gruelling or unfair. Combat is neither a chore nor a grind.

I prefer seeing the evolution of a small roster of characters and how tactics change within that party as opposed to tactical options spread thinly over a large roster which is fettered by the party member cap. Not to say that RPGs with large parties aren’t enjoyable, but it’s just a preference of mine - I’m the kind of tabletop player who has no qualms with playing or DMing small groups of 1-3.

Also get the best move, in my opinion, Regeneration from completing the Wippsbruck Guard quest line with the demon slime. Combine that with Sugar Rush and you can auto-heal both Pro and Clara. That is what I do all the time and i just breeze through the battles.

healed them beforehand and managed to beat the snakes. but now 3 hours later im stuck again because i suck at this. how do i get the diving suits?

If I’m remembering correctly you first need to get the wheel in order to use the telescope on the second floor of the manor. To get the wheel you need to head to the shed in the back garden. You’ll have a brief fight with a slime, and then you can grab the wheel. Afterwards just head upstairs and interact with the telescope. Then you should be able to find the diving suits.

i’ve gotten the wheel already, but i haven’t found any telescope yet. do i need to get to one of the areas to the sides of the library area with all the holes in the floor?

Yeah on the right side. You can move the box by interacting with it from the top.

i try but it just says there are other areas to explore

You can only move the box specifically from the top, it won’t work by pushing on any other angles.

alright, did that and the stuff after it but now, again, i’m stuck with three enemies. the number three hates me

If you are not at full health, in the room before you go down the elevator and fight them, you can heal via the chair.

it says there isn’t any time for rest

Before you go back down the elevator? Are you sure? The characters after you do the cutscene specifically tell you that you can rest right before.

yes, i’m sure. clara says there isn’t any time left to rest when i interact with the chair. pretty weird

I’m going to ask a question that might spark some debate, but I feel it should be asked.
Best butt? Emmie’s or Clara’s?

I imagine Clara’s to be meatier, given the amount of exercise she does. Like a well-marbled steak.

With a significant layer of fat on it, of course.
