Don’t worry, TP resets itself at the start of combat, but it does allow for forever healing outside of combat if you need it. The game isn’t meant to be very hard, so I don’t consider it a bug and kept it in.
i was wondering if it was intentional or not, glad other people can make use of it.
btw use focus with clara befire a battle if you are doing a repeat playthrough and want a faster fight
i never understood why some people want fetish games to be hard. don’t wanna speak for anyone else, but personally i play for either the story and interactivity with WG and stuffing, not to play a fun regular game.
Strangely enough SB is both a fun game AND has really good wg and stuffing aspects. this game is such a fuckin’ enigma, it has no reason to be as good as it is.
I could see spinoffs and sequels working. If we talk explicitly about Pro, however, such a spinoff would probably be best set before this little adventure. Fill in the man’s relationship with Heidi, Al, Lantrum Ruler guy, and Emmie. Add in some twisted stuff that is fitting for law enforcement to deal with. Clara could lose weight in a spinoff (yes I know I’m a heretic) and begin climbing the ranks of the inquisition. Emmie has little potential for a spinoff before she leaves Lantrum imho. A sequel involving Emmie, Pro, Clara, and Essie organizing a difficult but ultimately successful resistance to a Gemuse invasion a la XCOM 2 is something I would like to see. Especially since Pro was drinking during their first encounter and for him to see things first hand while sober would be quite entertaining to watch.
No doubt the man would brag about how great he is after the fact. To be fair, who would argue at that point.
Difficulty is a pretty great way in getting immersed into a game, and immersion is pretty much a requirement for fetish games. Anything that gets you up and treating the game as more than just a program you punch your keys and roll your mouse over is going to be an enticing offer for game devs.
The fact that this pitch has exactly 1 mention of the fetish aspects goes to show how fucking good this game is. Its just a good-ass-game, that just so happens to be a fetish game. This game is such an anomaly and i love it.
While i agree to a point, i was more speaking of games that have overly challenging minigames that lock the fetish content behind 20 minute gameplay segments for no good reason.
Meaning the gigachad SB has stuffing segments where you just press the arrow keys so feed emmy bc why would it be anything else?
A slight aside here, but I posit that the best fetish games are ones that actually put the game before the fetish. A game that can be an enjoyable experience or can be described outside of any kinks means that any subsequent embellishments in that direction are pure gravy.
Points of adult interest can be subtle and, used lightly, can have a lasting impact due to their potency (think how potent the prospect of a suit-less sprite of Samus had players racing around the Metroid games, say). Rather than just something to bludgeon the player’s expectations around the head with.
Give me a well-crafted RPG experience or game that features stuffing (even in an amateur or limited capacity), rather than a stuffing experience with a mediocre game and story bolted on to serve as a perfunctory vehicle. After all, imagination is a fairly potent tool for stimulation, as many erotic text adventure writers will affirm.
I think that putting one before the other is wrong in both cases. The point of a fetish game is the fetish, and not having that front and center can leave one (read: me) frustrated since people come in with a certain expectation and can be disappointed if that expectation isn’t met. Plus, if the fetish takes a back seat to the gameplay, then you might as well take out the fetish entirely and have a SFW game with a wider appeal.
On the other hand, a fetish game with mediocre gameplay but good fetish content is likely to be enjoyable, but only once. Once you experience something for the first time, it never feels quite the same way again, and is therefore less worth going through again (with some exceptions).
SB is great because the fetish is front and center while being complemented with good gameplay, striking a good balance between the two.
You’re not wrong in this regard. When someone sets out to create a piece of fetish content it’s almost always initiated with the fetish in mind. To rephrase my point, the (imo) “better” games allow for the development focus to shift onto gameplay rather than have the fetish dominating the creative process throughout. Ideally, focus should be balanced to revolve around both aspects. A good game that has good fetish material is naturally gonna be all the stronger for it.
It’s just worth reminding a lot of fledgling developers out there not to neglect the “gameplay” side of the process. A good, compelling game that brings people back to playing new updates or replaying the game anew can always be “sexed up”, whereas a dull or frustrating game experience will always be a hard sell for stepping back into as you point out.
Case in point, look no further than Some Bullshit, whose initial inception later attracted Clinko (and others) into helping make a good game better with new and better sprites, animations and artwork. To attract talent to your project it needs more than just a compelling fetish premise (though that certainly doesn’t hurt!) but also a compelling game to support it.
Personally I’d say the thing to keep in mind about a fetish game is that it shouldn’t be tedious or frustrating to get to the fetish content. Like I don’t wanna spend five hours grinding out goblins in an RPGmaker game just to get a single scene past what I’ve already gotten. It also helps when the fetish stuff doesn’t just disappear when you get to some exposition. Like if you’re just gonna drone on about the backstory of the ancient magic mcguffin that your ‘goal’ is I’m probably gonna just skip over it. Add some actual character interactions and possible fetish stuff during it and I’ll be much more likely to read it.
Is there any roadmap for game/demo’s release?
Right now, aiming for end of June. Ive been a bit slow recently due to return to office work and social obligations, but I really would like to be done by end of June.
Oh, awesome. So will it be last chapter of the game, or are You planning to have another releases? Also, is timeline available somewhere? For it to be available for quick glance where are we?
So this a long page and I was wondering where the most recent version of the game is?
I am new to this site.

Will there be a sequel after this game?
