struggling to find the mochi recipe, can anyone help?
Did you look in the kitchen in the spooky mansion by the nordenhaven town?
the laboratory on the island?
you may want to check the archives in the lab on the island again
i have i canât find or interact with anything
Hmmm, but you got the quest for getting the recipe? If not, you should visit the mafia boss and then follow the questline. After that, you should get an event in the archive.
thatâs the thing, i have everything. Itâs probably an obscure glitch that happened because i did something in a weird order at some point. Doesnât matter that much though, Iâm trying to find the recipe in my pure runthrough, the save i have of the glutton route is borrowed from someone who already did it on that save. I can just go through the memory for it once a new update with it is released.
Well, guess it is a glitch then, i got it with no problems (it is my glutton route, still have to try the pure one).
Or, which i think is really unlikely, it is a thing only for glutton?
I dont think itâs a glitch. The quest is pretty bullet proof with one thing requiring the next. It literally cant go out of order. What part exactly are you on? Where in the quest log
For some reason i keep thinking the âMy Cabbages!â guy from the Avatar cartoon is in this. Maybe he should be.
Um, I found a softlock in the game.
When exploring the place with the Slimes that throw Snakes at you, after fighting the three Snake fight, if you backtrack to the previous room and go to its entrance (where you fought the two snakes and two slimes) it will trigger the fight again. Then if you try to enter the room with the Three Snake fight, it will try to trigger that fight again, but the Slimes wonât show up which results in a softlock.
I was just bumbling around and backtracking to see if I missed any flavor text dialogue after reading a sign in the Three Snake room, and fortunately had saved recently so I didnât lose too much progress.
Barring that, the game has been pretty great, keep up the great work!
Ah, I see the problem, the second fight never had anything to disable it, but would change the variable so that the third fight would trigger, but break. Iâve fixed it going forward. Thank you for the heads up.
Youâve probably already fixed it, but after the BBQ party (for reference thatâs map360.json), it looks like Quest Flag 17 (the Beach Goblin Quest) is called as completed again instead of Quest Flag 16 (the BBQ Party Quest).
You are correct. I forget if I fixed it in the current release, but in the next one all you will have to do is talk to Eloa after the quest and it will complete it for you. That way if you already completed the party you can still mark it complete on the quest log.
That quest chain doesnât help as much, do you have the mob one to show instead?
What might be easier is if you send me the save file. I can directly take a look and see where you are.
damn yea it was my mistake, i mustâve mixed up save files, there is no problem with the quest sorry to bother you
loving the scooby doo music in this scene though lmao
No worries my man. Glad it was working!
Any plans to utilize the default/skipped armor/equipment at some point in the game, maybe as rare/uncommon drops? Or were they used in earlier versions and then removed? I am referring to the generic âRingâ, and the two skipped armor pieces of âAn Empty Beer Mugâ and âInquisitor Hatâ. I imply them as skipped as they appear in the middle of the armor list, donât appear to have any reference anywhere in the code, and (barring the Inquisitor Hat) have been replaced by better equipment in the game already.
I think I made the hat for Clara, but then remembered she doesnât wear a hat. So I took it out. Empty beer mug was probably for something, then I took it out. Combat isnât that important in the game, so a lot of that stuff I find difficult to make interesting.
