Some Bullshit - Stuffing Focused RPG Maker Game

@Nerds I cannot find the girl at the goblin bar… I am certainly on the gluttonous route. What might this be?

For one, she’s not there the first time you go. In fact I think you might have to go back to where you originally meet her, after already having completed the city you meet her in, teach her belching then. then do the goblin city. do more later. then backtrack to the goblin city. then she will be there.

regardless of if you have enough glutton or not. if not. she’ll ask you to do a competition and you’ll decline.

Weird question: at what point did you decide to make Clara a permanent party member?

Every so often when I’m enjoying the hilarious dialog between her, Emmie, and Pro, I remember there was a time she was framed as an antagonist or not even in the story, and it kinda blows my mind.

I’m curious, was it a happy accident that she (and Esse too, I guess) became a good guy, or was it already planned by the time she was introduced?

She was supposed to be one for awhile. I originally wanted her to be a longer running antagonist, but I didn’t have more spots for her to be a bad guy! Plus after the cruise, she would have looked real dumb if she thought the gang was still bad guys after saving her twice. So she got to have her redemption arc quickly. Clara’s fetish purpose was to be a more realistic tum size and worry about weight gain for the people who want that.

Sadly, Clinko and I got carried away. I apologize to those fans.

I will say she is very useful for mix ups in the banter. Also allows Emmie to rebel a bit against Pro, as if Clara wasn’t around, Emmie would never have back up on some arguements.

Do the gluttony points correspond to a “scene” that can be spoken about with Ellie or are they referring to examples like eating the fish and stealing from the rich kids? cause I have been trying to figure out what leads to what.

Found a soft lock.

During the part where you’re sneaking past guards in the mining area with the ghost, trying to knock a guard out in the small area which I think is the last caused the guard to collapse but they are facing downwards and can still see you and there’s nothing short of no clipping that could save my, well, save file.

There’s no debug feature for no clipping right? I don’t want to start over, so if not then I guess I’m done.

Can we have a link to your pixiv?

Hey, sorry to hear that. Would you be able to share over the save file? I can probably fix it and then send it back to you.

yo nerds, was really enjoying your game until I ran into a softlock earlier today. I made it to the merchants buffet, and ended up saving my game after eating all the big food items first, including the cake, ruining my save and locking me there, as any time i would eat anything, insta game over. I tried to do a bit of work with a save editor, but ended up corrupting the save. I didnt think to ask here first, so out of frustration that i would have to redo 6+ hrs of gameplay, i deleted everything. I was wondering if there was anyway that you could send me a save at this point in the game and i could continue playing, because i’d love to finish your game. Thanks in advance!

i should also add that i was going down the gluttony path, so emmie had digest+, belch+ and sugar rush. Emmie and pro were around level 11, i had 6k coins, all the ski gear equipped for pro, about 30 sweet buns for food, and that emmie had about 3 stomache capacity upgrades thus far. im really sorry if this is asking for a lot, but i’d really love to finish the game.

I am sorry to hear that. I will try and have it fixed so that does not happen again. I do not have a save handy, you might have to ask somebody else, or play it again at a later date. I will say, you are not even halfway done in terms of content, so it might be worth it to try again?

Apologies again.

Bumping again for a Chuckplete save

In the twelve days since your bump, couldn’t you have just played through to that point?

Ooof I’m now on the sleepover for the 4th time, can’t get through without crashing, much too long without any option to save. although the no saving was probably added to prevent people from equipping ellie (and presumably throwing away their unique equipment?)

edit: make that 6. I think what must be happening is I’m trying to tap z to continue a text prompt, but it’s registering as a lengthy press of z? aka fast forward, for like a millisecond, even though I don’t mean to? Otherwise I am not sure I can figure out what causes it (usually it’s not a big deal, I save often, but this sleepover section is way to long to not have a save point).

edit: 8.
I’m starting to wonder if the sleepover is even beatable, I guess if I skip all the lore and interactables that are skippable it’ll go fast enough to maybe be doable?

edit: 10, and ooooo I think that last try I was on the final conversation in the final scene of the segment :frowning: I had thought using nothing but the mouse fixed the freeze bug! and actually I think it did! I fast forwarded endlessly using only the mouse and sprites desync’d and then were fixed a frame or two later. the sprite desync somehow must freeze the game if you are doing anything but holding down the left mouse button (when it froze for the tenth time I was actually clicking the mouse button because I was reading the text in the final new scene of the section, clicking, not holding, so far left mouse holding has yet to freeze, despite causing nonfreeze related graphical glitches).

Okay so, yeah, if you play through long sections that have scripted animations and freeze, then replay them by holding left click without letting go, you can reproduce a “glitch” whereby a sprite can appear in two places at once, a desync. Any input other than already having been previously already holding down left click causes a game freeze at this point. I think it’s an engine bug. Not a bug in this game.

Although being able to save halfway through super long segments would make the problem almost entirely vanish. Also someone else feel free to confirm this observation, I’m not replaying the sleepover for a 12th time

Yeah that was a common issue in the sweetshop garden scene when it fist came up. I had to play that whole segment a few too many times for comfort!

hey i want to know… is the sword is the demon trap with in for being blood lust or a just a mess up sword?

I think it might be a combination of a couple of things. First, your computer might not have the correct specs to run RPG maker MV. Especially when it comes to the bigger cutscenes, I’ve heard you need a good chunk of RAM to have it work. Second, while I generally try and have saving available, I leave it out in major cutscenes where loading in the middle of it will ALWAYS result in a softlock. It’s a guaranteed fact that if a character moves in the cutscene, you save and load, they will be back in their old spot, which will then probably cause a break.

I am sorry that the game keeps crashing for you there, but as you kinda figured out, it’s an engine thing. I am not sure what I can do except make the game much more simple, and I am not sure if people want that.

Given how… single-minded Lillacor is, I chalked it up to being just a sentient sword, but hey I could stand to be surprised if Nerds wants to reveal more demon chicanery!
