Then my last question is are you using a legit copy of starbound that’s the most up to date? You aren’t using an old, pirated version of the game? Features of the mod require version 1.4 at the very least to work.

So i noticed when i updated to recent version of this mod there was no longer a novakid fat race in the extender but now a invisible block, if i hovered over it for to long with a mouse it would crash the game any chance you would be able to look into this? (i know in past version there was 2 novakids cause you try’ed fixing there lighting issues with model but ye seems bugged now)
It has been stated before that the fatty novakid race was to be removed, that’s intentional. The invisible block is just an oversight with its removal. But since it’s completely avoidable it’s not a major concern to fix immediately. But it does come with the hotfix posted earlier in the thread for those still experiencing some lag if it’s that troubling for you to ignore.
I noticed I can’t unpack the pak file. Is there something I’m missing?
Unpacking is not required at all. The mod will work as it is.
