YESSS I’M DOING THAT!
So far I have boots that provide a small amount of movement speed back, scaling as the player gets bigger! Intended to make playing at higher weights less punishing

an accessory that makes the player deal contact damage when moving fast enough (and when big enough, with the damage scaling with that) :?

ive worked on a terraria vore mod (with some weight gain, but no player weight gain) so i got some experience with terraria coding, i think i could pull it off

Try renaming the mod’s folder to “WgMod” without the “-main” :3

…what if there were unique slots for accessories that reduce negative effects from weight, add positive effects to weight or add new mechanics relating to weight (these cannot be equipped in regular accessory slots)
maybe each player starts with one of these slots and can eventually upgrade up to 3?
just makin’ stuff up

I’m not sure if it’d be necessary! I do like the way u think tho
the amount of accessory slots is already slightly limiting, adding a new constant obstacle would make managing accessories more difficult

By the way, I’m now a dev for this mod! Some of the items I’m working on will appear in new releases :3
For instance, the exoskeleton legs that reduce the negative movement effects from fatness!
And soon, a new accessory that gives an incredibly powerful “Ambrosia Gorged” buff, that’s also very fattening…
