I doubt it.
Keep in mind, I’m a total layman, but the game is increasingly massive and complex.
Also, one of the players/designers (i think) banged up a Mac version for me that didn’t work. Mind you, i’m pretty sure that’s more on my operating system than their skill, but still.
It’s RPG Maker MV; the engine and underlying scripts are all just Javascript running in an embedded version of Chromium. I’ll admit I can’t say for certain that it’ll run properly on macOS, but MV does support exporting projects for it, and it seems to work as well as any other complex MV game on Linux with the usual tweaks applied.
You can try this trick to cobble together a Mac package from the Windows download, but I have no idea if it’ll actually work.

I tried to make a mac os version because exporting it as one is an option. Or at least that’s what they want you to think. Turns out what actually happens is the game will only export correctly on the os that it’s being made on. Which means if there’s ever going to be a mac version someone else with rpgmaker mv and a mac needs to shove all the files into the right folders and then export and upload it.

Grim has a discord where he posts consistant news on progress. There hasn’t been a new update for awhile, but it’s far from dead.

That’s good to hear, at least. It’d be a shame if this game died because it’s one my favorites on this site, got a lot of variety in terms of expansion content and finding new scenes was very rewarding, so I hope development keeps going steady.

I’ve barely started, and tbh I usually don’t play unfinished games, because I hate cliffhangers.
However. I just had to make an exception. Truth be told tho I was bored. And dear lord…
THIS IS AMAAAAZIING!~

If anyone is having trouble in the post-story part of the game, I can offer a bit of advice (not trying to spoil anything, but it may be considered so, so I’ll be mindful to try and be a bit indirect with it: As far as finding the other contestants for the second and third eating contests, go to the bakery, find the keys for the Baker, and enter the back. Next, go to the casino and find the purple-haired girl, talk to her and then go to the Thieves’ guild, and talk to her there. After that, she’ll appear at the contest location. For the third, look for Maylen (she hints at who to look for in turn) and check out the hot springs up to the north to find the other contestant. After the second contest is completed, it becomes possible to complete another sidequest for the Thieves’ Guildmaster, Cerise. I’d recommend doing it, if for no other reason than seeing Cerise after she indulges in the afterparty (post-sidequest)
