Very happy to have this be a thing, but I also found a lot of issues (which is hardly surprising, when it’s the first release, as well as having been rapidly pushed out as a surprise).
Along with other glitches, I’ve noticed some collectable items on the farm let you walk over them and out of normal paths (like walking onto a collectable flower letting me walk on the water). A few of the furnishings have overlay/clipping bugs - one fixed itself after building something else near it, while another (one of the bookshelves, I think) is still half-missing on top.
I don’t know if it was because I edited in a lot of things (money, 99 of most items, etc.) to skip the grind, because it was getting to be too slow to enjoy much at first (I like getting huge…what can I say?), but eventually the crafting menus for materials/tools and food just kind of…mixed together. Unless it was a problem caused when gaining access to higher crafting tiers, I’d have to guess maybe it was because I had 99 of the Advanced and Master books (because I didn’t know which item number they were, to set them back to 1).
I was completely unable to get any pumpkin seeds, watermelon seeds (but, like others, I could still somehow plant watermelons), and yew. The last of these was the most troubling, since it’s needed to make the best pickaxe and best fishing rod (which I’m not sure the point of, unless it just guarantees catching salmon without failure or something). I wanted to know if something good was behind that wall you can theoretically break, but I couldn’t make the tool I assume was needed…
The little girl on the far left of the nursery, I assume, is supposed to need you to craft a toy to give to her. I just talked to her, she thanked me (for a toy I didn’t have, but apparently gave her), and then she proceeded to be dead to the world (while at least the rest of the kids that are only found there were at least reacting to changing pregnancy size).
I still don’t know what the circle you expose by cutting down the one tree does. That is, unless it’s supposed to drain energy to trigger something else (that seems related) - but I never saw it draining energy or nutrition or anything.
Lactation only makes your sprite’s boobs swell when it happens during the day, best as I’ve noticed. Waking up in the morning always saw me being full, but never swollen bigger. Also, I don’t know if it was just left out to avoid needing twice as many pictures for the “CG” option, but full milk isn’t reflected in the CG.
All that said - and while it will be good to see the bugs ironed out, and the items that are missing becoming available - it’s still a neat game. Again, I wish the size went bigger (and maybe that repeated pregnancies would see her cup size increase, even beside filling with milk - since that does really happen, while milk balloons [neat as they can be] don’t). But, I get that most people wouldn’t want to be slowly trudging around the farm with a belly and boobs big enough to make squeezing out of the house a struggle…even if I really, really would. I’ll still consider it an impressive game without those hopes becoming something that actually happens, though…
