Man i noticed you joined my game’s patreon, wanted to message you and tell you that your game is easily one of my favorites here. Beautifully crafted, rendered, silly and fun!
I’m super excited to see more of this gem of a game.

Thank you! Your project looks very promising. And I’m happy to see another 3d game hit the forum ![]()
This was such a fun game, I loved the Brenna path
What is the latest update to the game and where can we download it? Thank you for making this game by the way!
Welcome to weight gaming @Bobby_Tisin3.
The most recent version is linked in the first post, which is version 0.5.1.
Is this game finished or will there be more added later on?
We are coming up on a year since 0.5, so I wanted to drop by and give an update.
I said that providing more progress updates was one of my goals moving forward. I haven’t been providing those updates because I don’t have a lot of progress to report. But I continue to work on QoC piece by piece in my spare time. The most notable progress I can share is that Fia’s (the new character) intro sequence is nearly finished. She comes with more backstory than previous characters, so those scenes have taken me a while to put together.
I plan to keep working on Fia’s story for the time being so that she will have some weight gain in the next release. Once I progress Fia’s story enough, I plan to start adding more content to existing weight stages for Brenna, Genevieve, and Annora, with a focus on Brenna and Genevieve per previous poll results. Once I’m satisfied with that content, it’s on to progressing Khaira’s weight gain story, and then release 0.6.
Release 0.6 is a long way off, but I hope the above gives you an idea of my direction for the foreseeable future.
Probably walking on thin ice on breaking the community guidelines part, but would it be reasonable to assume that 0.6 will take longer to release then 0.5 did?
Yay. An update on the existence of an update in the pipeline. I can’t wait until the update finally drops.
That’s probably correct, although it’s hard to say for sure. As soon as I have a solid idea of a timeframe for the next release I will post it here.
Time sure flies by, Really hope vraz is okay!
I’m okay- thanks for asking! As a sign of life I offer you an image of Fia at a pub. She’s stopped in to grab a hearty lunch after an intense morning of traning with the player character.
Thanks alot! I was starting to worry! Glad you’re okay! And thanks for that amazing image!
This preview image looks great. So much so that it inspired me to have another play through of the game to remind myself how good it was. QoC was one of the first games I tried when I discovered the community and it still stands as a benchmark of quality among the branching storyline genre. Looking forward to that new update when it’s finally released.
She reminds me of Aela from Skyrim
Wow… you are right lol. I haven’t thought about Aela in a long time, but now that you mention it, Fia’s aesthetic does resemble Aela. My subconscious must have been hard at work when I designed Fia. I’m not surprised- I did many playthroughs of the Companion’s questline back in the day.
Yea definitely looks like Aela just without the paint lol but hey it looks great
I’ve been tossing around the idea of adding short animations to the next build of QoC. I started considering this after discovering the immense capabilities of image to video AI programs. Animating in Daz studio (the program I use for the game’s visuals) is extremely tedious and time consuming. On the other hand, AI image to video is simple and fairly quick. With a ton of help from @Mecha3D, I’ve been impressed with the results of the experimentation I’ve tried so far.
With that said, I know that AI is a point of controversy on this forum. I don’t want to go down this road if it means losing many fans of this VN. Just to make it clear, I will still be utilizing Daz for all of the game’s static images. I am only using AI to take some of the static images I create in Daz and turn them into short animations. As a proof of concept, here is an example:
With the above example in mind, please feel free to participate in the following poll:
Proud to be the first “no” vote.
Perhaps a third option, “I don’t care much either way”, would have been a good addition, given your expressed concern about losing fans. Understandable, given the general AI temperature; funny, given the early poll results.
As long as the base images are made by hand, I’m not bothered. The proof-of-concept is unimpressive (almost zero candle flickers? Annora barely has a shadow?), but I doubt there’s much you can do about it beyond generating n times and choosing the best output. Because I don’t care either way, my very important opinion boils down to dev time considerations: surely this will take longer. But, I’m not a paying customer, so what does that matter? Your project, your whims.
MY PERSONAL OPINION IS THE MOST IMPORTANT AND NEEDED TO BE STATED IN TEXT, NOT A SIMPLE VOTE
Keeping the politics out of it and just going with what’s presented on its own merits: Its “barely” AI. Effectively just a live photo. Could be a nice wee touch to give scenes that little “extra” life.
