I have v0.7, looking at it now. I’m not sure if it was exactly the first weight threshold, but it was definitely one of the earlier ones.
Well, that’s a starting point at least Hopefully anyone else who finds this will let me know. It’s obviously a rare one, so could take a lot of hunting out.
hey tigger how is it going with the game making need anymore ideas
I’ve got quite a few ideas, but if you (or anyone else) have more suggestions , feel free to make them
Love the game man, and I’m thrilled you’re picking it up again.
The only suggestion I’d like to make is there’s a soft serve machine in Sarah’s parlour that seems… under-utilized.
A good point! Although that machine only serves generic ice cream, and not Sarah’s special brand of very high calorie product
hey tigger how is it going with the game making
is alice goin to be bigger and the others too
i have another thing to suggest you could do sports tickets where they go to football game or baseball or soccer ball or basketball you could choose or an zoo or they could go to the golf course
i was wondering if i could gets some demos see if i test some new earlier updates see if how they are like if you need game tester thats me
It’s going slowly, but steadily My GFX card is dying, so I’m currently getting a lot of crashes when rendering, but I have got some images done, and have a lot more set up ready to run. I’m hoping to buy a new card later this month if I can find one that’s not entirely insanely overpriced.
There definitely won’t be any sports arena type events. I’d have to model at least a small section of the crowd, not to mention players on the pitch and the scenes would take ages to render with that amount of characters in them. I’d also have to think of a plausible reason to go there that tied in with the story, and offhand, I can’t think of one that would justify an entirely new, render intensive scene.
Golf is out. I HATE golf! A zoo event is more plausible, but I don’t think it would be sufficiently different from the current walk in the park scenes, and it would depend on what zoo/animal assets there are on the Daz store. It would be a lot of extra expense for a not very different scene. I’ll give it some thought, but I doubt it’ll happen.
There isn’t a new version ready yet, and won’t be for a long time. The last version took me around six months to do, and, illness aside, that was working literally every spare minute I had. I’m going at (and enjoying doing so) my own pace now. So it’ll be ready when it’s ready.
As far as testing goes, once I’ve got the next version in a playable state, I’ll be asking for a few volunteers. That said, I’ve already had several people who’ve been following the game from the start volunteer, so I won’t be looking for many more.
As for the characters getting bigger, definitely maybe
true golf is boring you have an point i might help ya buy an GFX cards i have 3 extra GFX cards but there at home in my gaming room let me see if i can find ya one
Are you adding more scenes when Alice goes to your work?
I haven’t given any real thought to expanding on the office scene… yet… but that doesn’t mean that I won’t
Thanks, but I got a stock alert a few minutes ago from a small retailer so I’ve just ordered a new 2080. Expensive, but not the scalper prices that Amazon/Ebay have! And I can Paypal it over three months I appreciate the offer though.
no problem tigger im always in to help
LUCKY! I chanced upon a 2080 Super open boxed last year around the holidays for roughly the retail price from the actual retailer. I don’t do the rendering workload you do, but it’s made my gaming the past year much better considering I was moving up from an almost decade old GPU. May be self paid but it always feels like a nice gift to run current games at really high settings.
Proud of you for being conscientious about where you’re getting it from. Not everyone can, but we all should make the effort when possible.
It was still more expensive than what I paid for my previous 2080 super about 18 months ago. Just nothing like as much as the ripoff merchants on Ebay/Amazon are charging.
Small rant: I’d rather go without somerthing than EVER pay scalper prices. These money grabbing bastards are the reason so many things are in short supply atm.
And nvidia refuses to make founders for a longer time… greedy bastards…
I agree that sometimes her mood isn’t entirely clear from dialogue, though I don’t know if a meter is needed, provided there are dialogue points that can serve the same purpose.
For instance, a seamless means of checking her mood might be to have a line fire the first time you interact with Alice each day with the MC’s observation. If a meter must exist, perhaps it should be a toggleable option or unlocked once the relationship improves past a certain threshold (indicating that you’ve become close enough to more effectively ‘read’ her emotional state).
The game has done a great job of avoiding a UI full of bars and numbers thus far.
